Tea/ Healing Spell

My voice was feeling croaky today, so I decided to whip up a healing spell that uses tea!

Ingredients:

Tea

Water (Moon would be good but any water will do)

Honey (If you like)

Steps:

1) Make tea as you usually do and while making it say these words

Soothe my heart 

Soothe my soul

Heal my voice and

Make me whole 

2) Draw a sigil in your tea with a spoon or a tea bag

3) Drink and be healed

Self Change spell~

Lately I’ve been really unhappy with myself so I thought up a spell to help change that.

Materials:

Candle

Paper

Pen/Pencil

Lavender

Chamomile

Mug-wort 

Lemon Balm

Pink Himalayan Salt

Cloves

Sea Salt

Red Rose

Thyme

Disclaimer: All herbs are optional, these were just the ones I added for my situation.

I ground all my herbs together and dusted them over my candle. On a sheet of paper I wrote down the things I didn’t like about myself and how I wanted to change. I rolled the paper up and set it on fire using the candle with the herbs dusted over it. I let it burn till the candle died out.

And the paper burned I chanted:

~These are no longer welcomed within me

My space shall be cleansed, I will change for the better

Emotions flare, emotions change, emotions free

Change for the better

So mote it be~

Repeat as needed.

This is simple, charge how you like, use dry or fresh herbs. I am secular and not one for rituals so adapt how you please.

Ready To Start Spell

This spell is designed to help one move on from an ended relationship. It is inspired by Arcade Fire’s song Ready To Start. You can feel free to play the song while you’re performing the spell, but it is not necessary if they’re not your thing. :)

“...I guess I’ll just begin again. You say, ‘Can we still be friends?’ If I was scared, I would. If I was bored, you know I would. And if I was yours, but I’m not. Now I’m ready to start.”

Materials:

Red taper candle (can be substituted with red or white)

Sheet of paper (can be scrap paper)

Red pen (can be substituted with black)

Pin needle or something to carve the candle

Nonflammable red/pink lipstick (this is totally optional)

Fireproof dish

Method:

If you’re going to play the song, turn it on now.

Visualize your partner(s).

Use the pin needle (or pen or pencil, whatever can carve) to carve the words “Ready To Start” into the candle.

* Set the candle into a holder as a safety precaution. Please don’t light it without having it supported by something! *

Light the candle. Watch the flame for a few seconds. Understand the power and energy of this fire. Take a minute to acknowledge the fire within yourself. This power is your power.

Write down your goals on the sheet of paper with the red (or black) pen but use present tense.

Ex: “I am over (him, her, them, etc.),” “I am healed,” or “I am happy.” You can write as many as you want.

Fold the paper like an envelope. Put on the lipstick. Kiss to seal it.

Hold the paper against your chest. Repeat, “Now I’m ready to start.”

Imagine yourself healed, happy, at peace. Over it. Moved on. Ready to begin again!

Hold the paper over the fire and light the corner. Let it catch fire.

*Immediately* put the paper in your fireproof dish. If you don’t have a fireproof dish, please do this outside and far away from neighboring home.

Watch the fire burn, again visualizing and taking into account what force and power is consuming it. Let it burn to ash.

When it is completely burnt, collect those ashes (no debris please) and flush them into a source of running water (down the drain or into the toilet).

Allow the candle to extinguish itself.

Remind yourself that you are “ready to start” your life without this person. Imagine yourself “beginning again.” This is your fresh start!

Please note: Intention is so very important when doing any spell. Don’t be discouraged if you do this spell and don’t see instant results. You have the power to make this a reality, you just have to have faith in yourself.
