Suletta/Miorine, wholesome as it is, has soooo much dark ship potential. Suletta the devoted weapon, the well-trained war-hound on a leash, and Miorine succumbing to the temptation to grab that leash and wield that weapon. Suletta would thank Miorine for using her.

Really, the main reason SuleMio turned out ‘cute and wholesome’ is simply the fact that Miorine happens to be one of the most normal and SANE characters we’ve ever seen in Gundam. Girl is just constantly seeing through ALL of the bullshit around her and, like most sane people would, has long since lost all patience for it.

But of course, if Miorine wasn’t ‘normal’ or sane, and was perhaps a bit more unhinged like so many other Gundam characters…

I mean, say for instance Miorine was more of a Lelouch type character, then holy SHIT, her and Suletta would be UNSTOPPABLE. As well as beautifully fucked-up XD

One particularly relevant mental image/scene I’ve always had for in mind for this is someone, say Shaddiq, Guel or even Prospera, calls Suletta a ‘monster’. Only for Miorine to reply, with completely unhinged, slasher grin;

“Yes. She’s MY monster.”

And Suletta thinks it’s just the most romantic shit ever XD

Also, something-something, Suletta is basically the Fenrir to Miorine’s Odin, and they end up getting really kinky and freaky about the narrative concept that Suletta may one day ‘devour’ Miorine…

Thinking about Nuts and Dolts bonding over having died and come back. Ruby would absolutely be the type to try and casually joke that she's one death behind, so she's expecting another any day now.

I feel like this is the fun, dysfunctional, fucked-up version of Nuts and Dolts where Penny feels all the more unsettlingly detached from the human condition while Ruby has just completely and utterly stopped giving a fuck.

Meanwhile all of their friends are EXTREMELY concerned. Assuming they don't have their own fucked up issues to deal with lol

An aspect of RWBY Angst Potential that isn't considered that often: Ruby adjusting to a post-Salem Remnant. Sure, the world will never truly run out of things for a driven, dogged, charismatic idealist to do... but without Grimm to go human blender on, Ruby is going to lose both a whole lot of her self-assigned purpose and her preferred coping mechanism.

Oh yeah, I absolutely agree with you there, and I think it’s VERY possible that we’ll end up seeing that idea explored by the end of the series.

Honestly, I could see this being explored not just with Ruby, but with Weiss, Blake and Yang as well. Sure, they might not have it as much/bad as Ruby, but I feel like all of Team RWBY have that extremely driven, ‘destined for greatness’ heroic quality that could leave them all struggling to adjust to a post-Salem Remnant to one degree or another.

Like I think that’s one of the major points of contrast between RWBY and Team JNPR’s ‘everyman’ quality? Jaune, Nora, Ren and Oscar are all absolutely the sort of characters who would have no trouble finally hanging up their weapons for good and settling down for a quiet life once the fighting is over. But for Team RWBY? Not so much I think.

It’s actually one of the main reasons I still have a hunch that RWBY will end up doing a nod to the ‘Into the West’ ending of Lord of the Rings, with Team RWBY leaving Remnant behind in some way, similar to how Frodo and the other ring-bearers leave Middle Earth.

One can easily imagine Satan or another prominent demon dramatically intoning, "All rise for the supreme magistrate, Her Infernal Highness, Heiress of Hell and Regent to Lucifer Himself, Princess Charlie Morningstar!"

Followed by, of course, Miss Sunshine and Rainbows cheerfully making an entrance, waving at the assembled crowd and taking a dainty seat upon the Throne of Pride.

Poor Blitzo is going to put his foot in his mouth so hard.

LOL XD Admittedly the way I’m envisioning Charlie’s entrance is that she makes a surprise appearance, as in; after it seems like everyone save Bee, Ozzie and the rest of I.M.P. have voted against or just not for hearing Blitzo’s testimony, only for a sudden “I’d like to hear him out” to be heard.

Cue a golden column of light revealing Charlie just chilling on the throne with a big cheerful smile.

Which in turn leaves Satan, being the big stickler for the rules that he (claims to be) is, scrambling and fumbling to keep ‘proper’ decorum with the Princess-Regent’s surprise appearance. Which Charlie absolutely did on purpose to mess with him. I also imagine Charlie quoting Satan’s own rules and laws back at him regarding her authority to cast another vote on hearing Blitzo out. And also immediately gets Levi, Bel and even Mamm to vote with her this time.

Basically showing that Charlie is FULLY capable of running this circus XD

And when Andy-the-not-actually-a-sister-fucking pitches a hissy fit with a half-assed argument about this being a ‘purely Goetia matter’, that’s when Vaggie makes her own big entrance, dive-bombing in and choke-slamming him into a wall.

That all being said, yeah that list of titles is EXACTLY the kind of extremely long-winded introduction I imagine Satan would be giving for Charlie XD In fact, I think it’s specifically Satan who HAS to perform Charlie’s introduction.

And oh yeah, Blitzo would absolutely be putting his foot in his mouth so hard he might as well be deepthroating his whole leg XD

I think the only reasonable option I have here is Suletta/Miorine/Sophie/Norea, aka the ‘2v2 Enemies to Lovers’ ship XD Partly because it’s kind of my only G-Witch poly ship but also because Miorine/Sophie, and really Norea/Suletta or Miorine feel more like they would be more products of the polycule rather than anything that would develop on their own.

Now this is an interesting one XD

I feel I’d be remiss if I didn’t bring up Chaggie for this one, given that I have a hunch(hope) that the smuttiness for them is going to be canon. As in, I think it would be amazing if going into Season 2, Charlie and Vaggie end up getting a Fizzmodeus-level of extremely wholesome AND horny for each other XD

That being said, if we get outside the realm of any kind of ‘canon plausibility’ and ask about pure fan-works…

Then I think the answer would have to be this one Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha fic (circa StrikerS) I was working on a while back where on paper the ‘ship’ is NanoFate, but in practice the ship is really ‘ALL of Riot Force 6’ with Nanoha and Fate being both extremely horny for each other and pursuing an AGRESSIVELY open relationship with their friends and coworkers (minus Caro and Erio obviously).

Come to think of it, I’ve actually had the finished first chapter sitting around for a while now because I haven’t been sure what to do with it…

“Favorite Foe-Yay ship?”

Oh man, you’re really asking me to narrow down a favorite? XD

So similar to the last question, I feel I kinda HAVE to talk about Marthaberry for being a gloriously fucked up foe-yay ship that is actually canon. Like as I’ve said before, I have no doubt that Ms. Mayberry and Martha hooking up was a hilariously unhinged series of hatefucking and killing each other. Probably at the same time :D

Though also like with the last question, if we start moving a bit outside canon I do feel like mentioning another foe-yay ship I particularly like in the form of Boscha and Luz/Amity from The Owl House for what I term a ‘2v1 Foe-Yay ship’. Where Amity and Boscha have the ‘extremely bitter exes despite having (probably) never dated’ vibe while Luz and Boscha have the ‘I hate you but titan-dammit you’re hot’ vibe, particularly from Boscha’s end after she sees Titan-Luz for the first time. And it all progresses to Boscha essentially becoming a recurring Team Rocket-esque antagonist mostly because she secretly wants an excuse for Luz and Amity to kick her ass.

…And at this point I think I’m just listing future ideas I have for my Titan Luz fic lol XD

“Characters that you can’t decide if you prefer as a ship or brotp”

So this might be stretching the definition of the question a bit, but I’m going to have to go with what is essentially ‘White Rose x Bumbleby’, aka ‘do I prefer Team RWBY staying as two separate partner ships, or going full polycule?’. Like on the one hand, White Rose and Bumbleby are by far the MAIN two ships I’m most interested in, so would it be better to just focus all my investment there? On the other hand, well the appeal of a full-team polycule kinda speaks for itself XD

I for one cannot wait for the Ruby/Mercury rematch where she just eviscerates his cynical let-it-all-burn worldview better than Tyrian did. Something tells me that after the past few volumes, she's going to have precisely zero patience with selfish edgelord bullshit.

The funny thing is that on the one hand, I absolutely agree that Ruby COULD tear Mercury's whole edgy worldview to shreds at this point.

But on the other hand, I feel like at this point Ruby just has WAY bigger fish to fry (Jax, Cinder, Salem, etc) to waste time on Merc.

Mercury is flat-out small potatoes to Ruby right now, and I think it's way more likely that Emerald is going to be the one to deal with him, possibly with some backup from Oscar (to provide helpful advice and giving Merc a 'kid in way over his head' to relate to) and/or Yang (to deliver a helpful and cathartic ass-kicking)

Underrated detail in RWBY: the fact that Salem's pronouns are pretty much audibly capitalized (particularly among her minions), such is the terror she inspires.

"Well, She'll be back."

"It's Her."

Fitting for a would-be god-queen, no?

Yeah, and all this plays into a particularly interesting question of how much Salem actually views herself as some kind of god-queen.

She certainly views herself as 'superior' to both her minions and the present age of humanity in general. But at the same time it's also clear that a decent chunk of her whole 'Tremble Mortals, and Despair!' shtick is exactly that; an act. Theatrics. A calculated performance Salem uses to get people to do what she wants.

So again that raises the question of how Salem actually views herself? And really illustrates just how LITTLE we really know or can be actually sure of about Salem at this point.

Manifesting for Vol 10: Maiden Raven vs Hound Summer. That fight is gonna break stuff.

Ooooh, yeah this is DEFINITELY going to happen at some point XD

Though sadly, I imagine we’ll have to wait until Volume 11 or 12 when our heroes return to Vale to retake Beacon.

That said, I am in full agreement that Maiden!Raven vs. Grimm!Summer is absolutely going to be one of THE biggest, most dramatic fights of the show, and certainly a payoff to ALL the setup regarding Summer, Raven and all the Rosebird hints. And that’s not even getting into how Ruby and Yang will no doubt factor into things…

It’s going to be angsty, gay and dramatic as all fuck is what I’m saying XD

And thinking about it more, I think there could be some particularly spicy implications if we consider the potential LOTR allusions of such a battle.

I’ve brought this up previously, but I’m now pretty sure that Salem’s Grimm Hybrid are RWBY’s equivalent to the Nazgul, with Summer herself being our Witch King.

Now let’s consider that at present, Raven is likely more or less the best fighter the heroes have; a seasoned, exceptional huntress on top of being an experienced maiden.

Which means that a Raven vs. Summer matchup could very well have shades of Gandalf vs. the Witch King. And when we factor in Ruby and Yang, well…

What if Raven, Ruby and Yang end up alluding in some form to Theoden, Eowyn and Merry as well?

As in, Raven battles Summer just as Gandalf battles the Witch King, is defeated and at the mercy of Summer just like Theoden, only for Ruby and Yang to jump in battle Summer and protect Raven just like Eowyn and Merry*, possibly with backup from Weiss and Blake.

As to how they might work in ‘I am no man!’, weeellll…

What if it’s not Ruby or Yang or Raven who says it… but SUMMER as part of a big unmasking reveal?

Admittedly this is complicated a bit by the fact that Raven, Ruby and Yang are all exactly the people who would have every reason to guess that this mysterious masked humanoid grimm is actually Summer. So perhaps Summer would drop that line upon revealing her identity to someone else, say Qrow or Tai or just someone disposable whom she promptly kills. Either way it would still be a textbook RWBY twist to have their version of the Witch King be a woman.

*Note; I’m not suggesting that Ruby is necessarily the Eowyn here and Yang the Merry. RWBY’s never gone one-to-one with their allusions and I have to imagine Ruby and Yang would likewise represent a mix of Eowyn’s and Merry’s roles here.
