Areum had yet another busy day ahead of her with a dress rehearsal and then a show just hours later. In a rush, she quickly headed to her door and smiled when she saw the flowers and the note. Though she missed him dearly, it was little moments like this that made their time away from each other more bearable.

Areum took deep breaths, closing her eyes to calm herself down. She felt like she was either going to pass out or throw up. There was a strange feeling on her stomach and it was making her completely sick. She wondered if skipping the last two meals was the cause of it. Still, the small amount of alcohol she had had not long ago had probably paid a role in her indisposition. Probably.

“I’ll be fine,” She breathed out, her voice in an almost whisper though she turned to smile slightly at the other. “We can go. This will pass. I just need to go home.”

The first words that came to the incubus’ mind weren’t pleasant, so he held them in. No need to be rude to such a pretty young thing, he told himself. Especially when said pretty young thing could owe him a favor in return. “Alright, fine” he replied, a hint of begrudged relenting in his voice as he moved aside to let her in. “I’ll bring down a couple of blankets and a pillow, and you can spare me the details if you don’t feel like divulging. But you owe me one.”

It had happened all of a sudden. 

She was focusing on the mirror of the dance practice, hips moving to the beat, frustration suddenly overwhelming her when she couldn’t get the steps right. Jonghyun was leaning against the wall, watching her as he refused to leave. She had told him her practice would run down a bit later but he had came anyway, hanging up on her without giving her time to protest. In less than ten minutes, he was there, arms crossed over his chest and body leaning against the wall. He said nothing and there was really no expression on his face to give away what he was feeling so she decided not to bother him and continue with her practice.

Her day was not going very well. Her previous choreography had been turned down by both her manager and teacher and she had been staying at that room for what seemed like the entire day, listening to the same song on repeat, trying out new steps in front of the mirror before she could form a whole new routine. Except it wasn’t working so well and she kept missing her steps, leaving her bothered and frustrated. The fact that she felt a pair of eyes on her didn’t help either.

Running a hand through her hair, she paced around the room, letting out a groan, her mind too occupied with thoughts to even be able to concentrate. No matter what she did though, she couldn’t concentrate.

All of a sudden, a shadow came closer and without warning, Jonghyun was pushing her against the wall, locking their lips in a sudden kiss. It had surprised her and suddenly her mind had gone blank. Maybe that’s what she needed before she kept practicing- a way to clear her mind. He seemed to have done that perfectly in just two seconds.

Human made entertainment sometimes bored her, the same situations being repeated in every drama; she was fed up after an hour of two, so she went to the option of sleeping. Naturally she cuddles him, like a vine and like her nature, she glued to him.

Jinyoung felt Alice’s grip slightly tighten around his arm, but he didn’t really mind. Instead, he gently pulled his arm away and placed it around her shoulder, slightly pulling her closer to him so she could get more comfortable while she slept.

The two had been catching up on some Korean dramas and it grew dark in a matter of a few episodes. Jinyoung was still watching when he felt arms gently wrap around his own. He looked down to see Alice cuddling up to him with her eyes closed. She must have fallen asleep at some point during the drama. He let out a soft chuckle and gently patted her head, letting her hold onto his arm  while he finished up the drama.

One hand rested at the woman’s small waist, the other held her hand softly and his foot did the leading for their dance. Even when his face frowned and he flinched at the stepping, he quickly dismissed the accident and assured her he had not a problem; he had been warned she sucked, he couldn’t get angry. “It’s like this until you get the hand of it, we’ve all stepped on someone’s foot” He said with a calm and focused voice and stared at her with his always gentle eyes and that friendly smile that was hard to take off. They weren’t the only couple dancing, so Doojoon had to make sure not to lead them into bumping at another couple, he just hoped the only one she’d be stepping on would be him and not anyone else; that’s be embarrassing.

She looks away once again as she accidentally steps on the other’s foot. “Sorry-” She’s been taking note of how many time she’s said sorry this whole night and so far she has counted at least more than 10. “ Glad to inform others that i’m not majoring in dance.” a small laugh escapes her lips before smiling gently at the other before speaking. “So, did you enjoy dinner?” The silence between the two had made her a little self conscious especially since she kept stepping on the other’s foot so some small talk would give her a bit of time to breathe and stop focusing on where her feet was moving.
