Tezcatlipoca can tempt humans into self-destruction, but when he takes his turkey form he can also cleanse them of contamination, absolve them of guilt, and overcome their fate.

for this question, i pulled four cards:

the devil: losing independence, addiction and enslavement, caught up in the material realm, overindulgence, choosing to stay in the dark, pleasures, lust, and desire. feeling hopelessness close in and limit the options

the four of cups: self absorption, introspection, sinking too deeply into one’s own concerns and being lost in reveries. awareness of anything else fades and the world seems gray. 

the tower: catastrophe, sudden change, crisis, releasing all emotion, suffering a blow to the ego, revelation, and seeing through illusions. a necessary disruption to the status quo– violent and explosive upheaval as the only way to break through long-established patterns

the eight of wands: the eight of wands in the beginning of a long journey toward a goal. a great undertaking is at hand, and it speeds toward reward with hope and momentum. 

i would say that no, h’s intentions are not good and honest. the devil card is the opposite of the lovers card as it reflects the negative aspects when a bond goes toxic. in conjunction with the other cards, it seems that this bond will have a more negative impact on you than positive. you will need to listen to your heart rather than trying to read deeper into the truth that has been presented to you.

you must take the time to recognize your own needs and listen to your heart. i believe that if you have to ask for external input in regards to the authenticity of someone’s energy as well as the possibility of it lasting – rather than being able to ask them – something is awry in the bond. take care to notice the signs.

to me, these cards detail that you are close to being in your alignment, but you need to shift your course by a degree. clear the obstacles, listen to your heart, recognize that you are surrounded with people who care about you and will listen to you. you have nothing to fear and even less to worry about – you are not alone. once you get past this obstacle, the rest will be smooth sailing for a while
