Siren: favourite genre of music?

Probably pop, though I prefer older music as opposed to the modern stuff - some of it just confuses me.

Redcap: when did you get into your current biggest hobby/interest?

One of my biggest hobbies is creative writing, and I started doing that for fun when I was 12, I think... so it’s been an on and off thing for a decade, but it’s safe to say that my writing has improved dramatically! 😂

Harpy: do you enjoy playing sports?

It depends on the sport; I used to be part of the Girls football team at secondary school, and was often in defence (I could be rather intimidating), but I wasn’t keen on many other sports. I liked playing cricket, as well as volleyball, netball and ultimate frisbee, but that was it. I hated playing dodgeball at school. I can still hear the sound of the ball hitting the wall after one of the boys pelted it at my head 😬

A quick consult of Goodreads tells me I have completed 48 books this year! I currently have three books in progress, as is typical: one nonfiction, one fiction, and one e-book (for my work breaks or when I’m not at home). I’ve really gotten back into reading books this year and it’s been wonderful!

Video game music is my knee-jerk reaction! It’s my go-to for background when I’m writing, doing chores, driving, etc. I also love remixes of video game music, it’s interesting to hear the familiar songs re-imagined in new ways.

troll: for or against school uniform, and why?

I understand why schools use uniforms, and I get that it can be good for some areas and districts. However, I am not pro-uniforms, not really. People need to express themselves, and a lot of people begin their self expression and discovery journey in their adolescent years. Clothing is a way that allow people to do that, and it’s a safe way to do it and its a lot of fun for different students. So no, I am not pro-uniform. I am pro-dresscode if that means anything, but I also think dresscode needs to be made more fair for all students so that they’re comfortable.

Pegasus??

pegasus: ever had a recurring dream?I have had reoccurring dreams before, the kind that were very dead on the same more than once. But I also just generally have reoccurring storylines in my dreams every single night since ever I can remember. I almost always remember my dreams (at least when I first wake up, I don’t write them down so the details will fade throughout the day unless I focus on them), and they are all basically an alternate life that I live in sleep. I don’t know how else to describe it because that’s essentially what it is. It’s always set in a post apocalyptic like world where there’s a lot of damage to the land we’re on, a lot of debris from past destruction of some kind (Idk why it’s like that it just always is, I think there’s a lot of past warfare there, and sometimes we come across active battle zones), and I’m always with a group of people, usually family, and we’re always traveling. We stay in the same place for weeks or months sometimes, and there’s familiar places that we’ll visit that I actually have a sort of map of now because we’ve traveled so much and I’ve been there so many times throughout my life. It’s all still dream like and doesn’t follow logic or rules, but there’s a certain order to it. Anyway, I guess you could call that reoccurring because I literally am always in this “world” in my dreams and I dream about it every night! 🙃 I don’t ever have “normal” feeling dreams, they are always in this particular world…

for me i really hate cockiness. if i can sense people patting their own back, my brain just shuts off trying to talk to them. i mean confidence is great but if it is so high that you have little self-regard for others then i cant do it

mermaid and pegasus ✨

Mermaid: Favorite place to go on holidayAnywhere I haven’t been before. My favorite place I’ve gone so far was to the New England states. I’m so in love with the east coast and all of the history in that area. You have everything there from beaches to city lights to mountains with hiking trails.

Pegasus: Ever has a recurring dream?I know I have, but I’m having trouble remembering the story line… I do remember the people in it though, so I can only imagine what happened in the dream. (there was definitely the cute boy from my history class as well as a couple of people I’ve met through my sister)
