Two characters??? Aight!!!

Starting off with Mei!

Love her. One of my absolute favorite female characters.

People I ship Mei with: Red Son. I like the chemistry the two of them have in a romantic setting, but I have yet to read some good Dragonfruit fics that don't butcher Mei's rough-and-tumble attitude to make her fit the stereotypical female role in a hetero ship.

My non-romantic OTP for Mei: MK. They are ride or die best friends. They are siblings. They are everything a good family is to each other.

I don't think I really have an unpopular opinion about Mei, unless you count I sometimes headcanon her as trans (depending on the fic that is) (is that even an unpopular headcanon tho?)

And one thing I wish they had gone into more detail with Mei is the tension she has with her parents. It was barely even touched on the only episode where we see Mei's parents and I want to know ✨more✨

And now onto the best flame boi (sorry, Kai): Red Son!

He is honestly a very well-rounded character that is hiding behind a two dimensional facade. It's more obvious when you watch the later seasons and then go back to watch the earlier ones. He's putting up a front but Mei and MK are tag teaming to take down his defenses and they are succeeding.

People I ship Red Son with: Mei and MK. Not as Chimerashipping. Just Dragonfruit or Spicynoodles. Poly ships are just not my thing honestly.

My non-romantic OTP for Red Son: Mei, MK, and Macaque. Mei and MK are obvious cuz Traffic Light Trio for the win! As for Macaque, this one might take some explaining. I feel like Macaque and Red Son would get along very well in most aspects, such as learning everything you can about your enemy and using that information to take them down and dealing with powers that can be frightening to yourself/others. (I also think this cuz of this one fic I read a while ago where Macaque was staying with Iron Fan and Red Son instead of being killed during the Journey. No I don't remember the title or the author 😩)

And one thing I wish would happen is seeing Red Son bonding with his parents. We know that at least Red Son and DBK like cooking and I want to see the Bull King and his son working together to make a family meal.

And those are my breakdowns on these two lego characters! Now if you excuse me, imma go invade a certain moot's ask box. >:3

Actually never thought of this, which is dumb bc he’s a literal spirit… I’m stupid guys 😭 but im guessing he’d phase through them. The only thing he won’t phase through is Neuro (like hitting him, punching, pushing, etc)
