Okay guys, time to be real with you

Uh...I'm really bad at running a themed blog. That being said, this is STILL GOING TO BE MY MISTRIA BLOG because gods know I adore this game

HOWEVER

I've become progressively unhappy with Lumos and her development. I changed her story drastically and even though I loved it for a while, I eventually found myself wanting to go back to her original story. I may still do that but for now...idk the idea of doing all that just makes me so mentally worn out. And I'm already very mentally worn from real life stuff, so I don't want this cozy game and Lumos to potentially become a weight on me as well.

I think what I'm going to do is completely restart my Mistria game (my partner is doing the same so this will help me stay on track) with a new character and story and ideas. I already have a LOT of ideas so far and I haven't even made the new game file yet! I hope you'll enjoy this character as much as I will.

Will I end up revisiting Lumos and bring back her little simple story? Yes, that's a high possibility. In fact it's bound to happen. But for now I need a character that's more self-inserty (but cooler) so I can have this sense of escapism that I'm currently missing in my life.

That being said, prepare for a new blog theme and mayyyybe a new user? Except I'm not as sure about the new user part.

Anyway, I feel like I've been rambling on for too long. Thank you all for sticking with me and thank you to the Mistria fandom for being such a huge comforting space! I really appreciate all of you and ofc I appreciate the devs for giving us such a lovely game. See you soon ✨

I learned that sometimes when two trees have some parts cut off, and they grow into each other and become one, it's call "inosculation". And in latin that means "to kiss". Now I can't not think about two tree nymphs kissing each other when I hear that word.

the desire to make an zonai oc and make them kiss raphica is strong actually. The relationship would be similar to Helga and Arnold. My oc would insist they hate this fuckass bird but then totally have a crush on him at the same time

I’m about a month late but I finally got around to watching Knights of Guinevere and ooough it’s so good! Dana’s style is so recognizable and the storyline is so cool! As someone who has theme parks as my special interest, she did an amazing job at capturing the essence of the Disney parks while still adding an underlying creepy aspect. People have done creepy theme park/creepy Disney time and time again and it’s either hit or miss for me. Some people do it well, while some are trying a bit too hard. But THIS? Beautifully done.

I know it’s also partially a jab at Disney which is deserved. I’m neither a Disney defender/apologist nor am I a Disney hater. I definitely acknowledge that they screwed her over and now that she’s got a popular pilot, the Disney TVA account is suddenly milking Owl House content.

ALSO I love how adult it is! Not just with all the casual swearing but also with the graphic visuals. UGH this was such a strong introduction to such a cool show! I can’t wait to see more.

Also I want Frankie to hold me in the same way they were holding Gwen. I remember at some point the clock app was having some discourse over what their gender is. Bro, I literally don’t care because either way I wanna give them a kiss ok

We all know I love making OCs and lately I've been going back and forth on making one for Ouran because my brain decided on that for some reason?? And me being me, I'd ship said character with Kyoya.

But then I started thinking about how much I enjoy Kyoya x Tamaki and I would want to include that too.

That's when it hit me.

Tamaki would fucking love having a metamour.

He'd be the type to spoil his metamour with gifts and take them out to cafés and such. Either to get to know them or talk about Kyoya or both. He'd bond with them over things he learned about Kyoya that are cute (and the metamour would do the same, bonus points if Kyoya gets embarrassed). If something particularly flustered their partner, they're definitely going to tell each other.

Also I like the idea of Tamaki still dating Haruhi as well. Haruhi is totally chill with her boyfriend having a boyfriend who also has a partner. And I imagine she'd get along well with her boyfriend's metamour too.

Uhh anyway I need to sleep because it's way too late for me to be away but maybe I'm cooking
