The funny thing about House of Cards's season 5 finale is that we all overeacted (including Francis). I mean, Claire just became the actual President and we didn't even let the bitch have her "me" time in the oval... She declined one phone call and we were already like OH MY GOD SHE BETRAYED FRANCIS and Francis was already I WILL KILL HER! She could have just postponed Francis's pardon and the "My turn" meant that she made the moves now, not necessarily that she was going to turn her back on Francis, Claire is smart enough to use him in the private sector... But since the character had to die we will never know, and don't tell me the writers said it was going to be an Underwood vs Underwood season because they can say anything to promote the show but the real script will never be released so we can never be 100% sure. That's it, that's my essay.
