PART TWO
. . .
The first thing Y/N felt was cold.
Not the kind of cold that brushed the skin like a morning breeze, but the kind that settled deep in the bones—unforgiving and metallic, like the bite of a freezer door left ajar. She stirred against the stiff cot beneath her, eyes fluttering open to a blinding expanse of gray light.
Above her, concrete. To her left and right—beds. Stacked like shelves in a warehouse. Bunk after bunk. People. Bodies.
She blinked slowly, the back of her head throbbing faintly. Her fingertips touched the collar of her tracksuit. It felt foreign, stiff. A number stitched on the chest.
She sat up.
The room—no, the space—was massive, warehouse-like. The walls stretched so high they seemed to touch nothing. Rows of metal beds created a maze, and the buzz of fluorescent lights hummed above like insects. There were no windows. No clocks. Just faceless cameras in every corner and walls that breathed silence.
People were beginning to stir. Strangers in identical green tracksuits shifted and stretched, some still lying curled up like children on their bunks, others sitting upright in quiet confusion. Y/N remained still, scanning every inch.
She swung her legs over the edge of the bunk. The floor was hard, almost echoing under the weight of her shoes. Her stomach turned with a faint hunger—no telling how long it had been since she last ate.
Her hands clenched in her lap.
She could still remember the recruiter’s voice like static in her head. The card. The slaps. The promise of money.
“Just a few games,” he’d said.
Games.
Bullshit.
Y/N’s jaw tensed. Whatever this place was, she knew one thing—she wasn’t trusting anyone. Not this time.
She folded her arms tightly across her chest, spine stiffening like armor, and forced herself to take a deep breath.
She’d made it through worse.
She’d get through this too.
Even if she had to do it alone.
She looked toward the front of the dormitory where the heavy metal doors now stood wide open. A dozen guards poured in—dressed in head-to-toe pink, their faces hidden behind black masks marked with sterile white shapes. Circle. Triangle. Square. Like pieces from a broken game board.
She leaned back against the cold metal frame of her bunk, arms folded, eyes locked on the one with the square—the one in charge. His voice rang out loud and mechanical, welcoming them like guests at a twisted hotel check-in. Six games. Complete them all, you win the cash prize.
It was surreal, like a joke told too seriously.
Someone from the crowd spoke up—irritated. “What about our phones? I need to check the market—”
Y/N’s heart stilled. She knew that voice. Even distorted by panic, it rang clear in her bones.
She climbed the bunk’s stairs quickly, every step creaking under her weight as she pulled herself to the second tier. Her eyes scanned the sea of teal uniforms from above—dozens of heads, different heights, all blurring together.
Then the monitor crackled to life.
A video played. Her blood went cold.
It was him—her childhood best friend, Lee Myung-gi. Getting slapped across the face in a subway station, over and over again, losing at ddakji like a fool. Her lips parted slightly, the sting of that sound—the crack of palm against skin—echoing across the room like gunfire.
The guard’s voice resumed, now cold and clinical: “Player 333, Lee Myung-gi. Age 30, used to run a YouTubr channel called MG Coin. After convincing his subscribers to invest in a new crypto coin called Dalmatian, causing losses of approximately 15.2 billion won, you shut down and disappeared. You’re wanted for fraud and for violating telecom and financial investment laws. Current debt levels, 1.8 billion won.”
She sat back on the steps, arms draped loosely around her knees, the numbness crawling in like frostbite.
Of course he was here.
Of course the money-hungry, self-righteous hijo de puta was exactly where desperation dragged them all.
She didn’t hear the rest of the names. Just murmurs and more crimes, a symphony of ruined lives. She zoned out completely, watching his face disappear from the screen, and with it, any flicker of who he used to be.
It wasn’t until the guard spoke of a consent form that she listened once again and they had to sign before the games could begin.
Y/N stood. Her movements were sharp, deliberate. She walked to the furthest line she could find, away from the center, away from him.
She unzipped her jacket, heat rising under her collar. The air was heavy, suffocating. She tied the jacket around her waist, exhaling slowly as her eyes flicked up—only briefly—to catch one more glimpse of Myung-gi.
He hadn’t seen her yet. Good.
She wasn’t ready. Not yet. Not when the sting of betrayal still sat on her tongue like blood.
As she waited in line, a few players mumbled under their breath. Fear. Doubt. Regret. But Y/N remained still, a statue carved from everything she’d lost.
Let him see her later. Let him choke on the sight of her still standing.
Because unlike him, she wasn’t here chasing money. She was here because there was nothing left to chase.
. . .
It wasn’t until all the players stepped through the towering green doors that the full weight of their situation settled into Y/N’s chest.
They emerged into what looked like a massive schoolyard from a child’s fever dream—dirt and artificial grass underfoot, pastel skies painted above them like a cheap simulation of peace. A giant robotic doll stood ominously ahead, facing a cherry blossom tree that swayed without wind. Its braided black hair and motionless body gave the unsettling sense that it was watching—even with its back turned.
Y/N squinted, adjusting to the brightness of the light. She was still tying her hair up when she heard it.
“Y/N.”
That voice. She hadn’t heard it in months, but it still carried that damn tone—that familiar blend of hope and guilt that made her stomach knot instantly.
She turned to find Myung-gi standing beside her, expression a tangled mess of relief and regret. He touched her arm gently, as if testing whether she was real.
“I can’t believe you’re here,” he said, almost breathless. “What are you—”
“Why else do you think?” she cut in, folding her arms tightly across her chest.
He looked away for a moment, his lips tightening. “Look… I shouldn’t have pushed you to invest. I knew things were already hard for you—”
She laughed, dry and bitter. “I’m not the one you need to apologize to.”
His brows knit together. “What are you talking about?”
She cocked her head at him like he was stupid. “Pinche pendejo. Your ex-girlfriend. You know, the one you knocked up and left alone to clean up your mess?”
He blinked, stunned. “Jun-hee and I— we agreed on the abortion. And I was already being hunted by the police. I didn’t think she’d actually—” He trailed off. “How is she?”
Y/N’s jaw clenched. “I don’t know. Why don’t you stop ignoring her calls and find out for yourself?” she said, already stepping toward the white starting line. “Be a man. For once.”
He followed her a few steps. “Can we at least stick together for this? Someone else who invested in Dalmatian is here, and they’re out to get me. I could really use my best friend right now—”
She stopped abruptly and turned to face him, her gaze sharp as glass. “No. Uh-uh. We’re not friends anymore.” Her voice was low, lethal. “And whoever wants to come for you? Not my problem. That’s karma, Myung-gi. Now suck it up—because you’re on your own. Just like you’ve always been.”
She turned her back on him without waiting for his reply, stepping into position at the line, her eyes fixed dead ahead.
Myung-gi stood still for a moment, then slowly walked to the opposite end of the group, keeping his distance now. It was more than just respect—it was shame.
Neither of them noticed the purple-haired man watching from a few meters away. He stood near the middle of the group, head tilted slightly, eyes tracking every expression on Y/N’s face. He hadn’t heard the conversation, but he didn’t need to. The tension between them was obvious—and so was her beauty.
His lips curled into a smirk.
He didn’t know her name yet, but he already decided he’d be seeing more of her.
. . .
The games weren’t just games.
That truth sat like lead in her gut now. Elimination meant death—instant, brutal, and absolute. And the fewer players left standing, the more money there was to win. With every body that hit the ground, the glowing sphere above them filled with more cash.
₩45.6 billion was the goal.
After Red Light, Green Light left the floor stained in blood and silence, the survivors were brought back to the dormitory. Shell-shocked. Numb. Sick.
And then came the vote.
They were offered a chance to walk away—tap the X, split the pot between the remaining players. That meant about ₩24 million each. Enough for groceries, maybe rent, maybe even a tiny fresh start.
But not enough for her.
Not for the debts wrapped around her neck like a noose. Not for the guilt she carried for what her mother had lost. Not for what she deserved after everything. Y/N’s hand had hovered over the button for only a second before pressing O—continue.
She didn’t look at anyone when she did it.
The majority vote was to stay.
So they would play again tomorrow..
The adrenaline had worn off by the time dinner was announced. All that was left in its place was a pounding headache and an empty, cramping stomach.
Y/N moved toward the food line, but her heart sank. It snaked all the way to the other side of the room—dozens deep. Her knees ached just looking at it. She hadn’t eaten since… hell, she couldn’t even remember. Not a full meal, anyway.
She scanned the line. Tired faces, dull eyes, blood still on some people’s shoes.
And then she saw him.
Purple hair. Lopsided stance. Glazed-over eyes like he wasn’t really here at all. Either high, or in shock. Probably both, which left him vulnerable and/or gullible.
He was closer to the front.
Her stomach growled.
She wasn’t proud of what she was about to do. But pride didn’t feed you. It didn’t keep you standing.
She walked over.
“Excuse me,” she said, lightly tapping his arm.
The man turned, eyes landing on her, a lazy smirk twitching at the corners of his mouth. “Hm?”
“I was here,” she said smoothly, flashing a smile. “I just had to run to the bathroom real quick and—well, you know how it is. Line moved before I could come back.”
He blinked, then looked at the guy in front of him. Back at her. “I don’t think so, señorita,” he said with a half-drowsy chuckle. “I think I’d remember a face like yours.”
She chuckled too, not missing a beat. “That’s flattering.”
He raised an eyebrow.
“No, but really,” she added, keeping her voice light and sugary. “I was on the toilet, okay? Pretty sure no one wants me pissing in line, right?”
He gave a slow, theatrical grin, tilting his head to the side. “You know, beautiful, I’d like to believe you but…”
She sighed dramatically and dropped the act. “Yeah, okay. That was a lie.”
That got him. He laughed—a low, raspy sound that almost felt warm.
“I thought it was a pretty good story, though,” she added with a shrug.
He turned his head toward the back of the line, toward the crowd of hollow-eyed, swaying players still waiting for their meal. Then back to her. She saw something shift behind his eyes—not clarity, not sobriety, but recognition. She was hungry. And desperate. And she hadn’t tried to flirt, beg, or threaten. Just… hustle.
He respected hustle.
“Alright, chica,” he said, stepping to the side. “You can cut.”
She didn’t wait for him to change his mind. She slid in front of him, her shoulder barely brushing his as she nodded her thanks.
“I’m Y/N, by the way.”
He licked his dry lips and looked her over with lazy interest. “Thanos.”
She gave him a side glance. “Like the purple guy?”
He grinned wider. “Exactly.”
She smirked, looking at his hair then his eyes. “Fitting.”
The line crept forward again, one sluggish shuffle at a time. Y/N turned to face it, eager to get food in her system before she collapsed. But the man beside her—Thanos—didn’t seem content to stand in silence.
“So,” he started, voice still lazy but laced with curiosity, “how do you know MG Coin? Boyfriend?”
She recoiled instinctively, her nose scrunching like she’d just smelled something rotten. “No. Far from it.”
Her tone had enough edge to slice through steel.
She glanced sideways at him, noting the faint spark of amusement in his eyes. “You’re calling him MG Coin, so I’m guessing you’re one of his pissed-off subscribers?”
“Sure am,” he said without hesitation. “Lost all my hard-earned money listening to that little shit talk about some dog-ass coin.”
She nodded, a dry smirk tugging at her mouth. “Yeah, I don’t blame you. But I’m too tired and too hungry to start fights, so if you wanna throw a punch in my honor…”
He chuckled—a warm, throaty sound that rumbled low in his chest. “For you, I will, señorita.”
Her lips curled into a faint grin. “Good. Cuz God knows that cabrón needs to be humbled after all he’s done.”
The weight behind her words wasn’t just about the crypto scam. There was more buried in her voice—history, betrayal, things she didn’t plan to unpack with a stranger who let her cut in line.
“Cabrón?” he repeated, savoring the unfamiliar word.
She turned her head slightly, a bit of playfulness returning to her voice. “It means bastard, in Spanish.”
He gave a soft snort, clearly enjoying every second of this and filing that one away for future use as the line finally inched them to the front. Y/N stepped up and accepted the tray handed to her without even really looking—just a boxed dosirak and a lukewarm bottle of water, but it may as well have been a feast.
She accepted it with a small nod and then looked back at Thanos. “Thanks for letting me cut,” she said.
He offered her a crooked. “Anything for the hungry señorita with sharp eyes and a sharper tongue.”
She rolled her eyes—but smiled.
And as she walked off, tray in hand, she let herself glance back over her shoulder. Just for a second.
Thanos was still standing in line, rocking lazily on his heels, eyes following her.
And even though she knew better—knew what this place was and what it turned people into—she couldn’t help but admit one thing to herself:
He was really cute.
I give you:
Stay still, coin
A/N: Was supposed to post this an hour ago but I tried to release a spider form my room and dropped the fucking cup at my computer and I don't know where it's gone you guys 😭 Anyway! Summary: After the humiliation of the bathroom, Myung-gi tries to stay out of Thanos and Nam-gyu's way. Unfortuantely, Thanos and Nam-gyu are talented at getting under Myung-gi's skin in more ways than one.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
For the next few days, Myung-gi kept his head down.
He didn’t react to Thanos and Nam-gyu’s taunting at all. Didn’t rise to any of their childish bullying, not even when they swiped his food from right under his nose.
Not even when they’d shoved past him on purpose on his way to his bunk, Nam-gyu putting out a slender leg and tripping him in front of the other players.
Not even when they’d dumped their bottles of water on him whilst he’d been dead asleep- he was particularly furious about this one, as it was rare to actually sleep properly amidst the tension and panic of the death games, but still- he’d said nothing. Just peeled off his sopping shirt as they retreated into the shadows, laughing.
And now he was here, in the bathroom, staring at himself in the mirror like he was trying to dissociate. Surely the X team would win soon- and then he’d be free. He didn’t even care about his own safety- he just wanted to be rid of those two psychopaths.
He splashed some cold water on his face, feeling it drip down his temples, matting his parted fringe, and took a deep breath. Just keep hanging on- just keep imagining a life outside the games, no more shitty scams or coins, hopefully reconciling with Jun-hee and living financially comfortably with their baby-
Loud, obnoxious voices coming from outside the bathroom door snapped him out of his thoughts. Oh no. Ohhh no, no, no-
The door swung open.
Thanos came swaggering in, Nam-gyu practically bouncing at his heels, the pair chattering about something Myung-gi figured he had too many brain cells to make sense of. He immediately felt sick.
They hadn’t even noticed him at first, too busy with their exaggerated hand movements and drugged-up yapping to realise there was anyone else in the room with them. Myung-gi stayed still, hands grasping at the side of the sink, looking at them through the mirror with baited breath. Maybe they wouldn’t notice him? Maybe they’d do whatever it is they needed to do and just fuck off?
His heart dropped when Thanos lifted his head and caught his eye. Oh, fuck.
Thanos stopped in his tracks abruptly, holding out an arm to signal for Nam-gyu to halt.
Nam-gyu stumbled into his arm, looking up at Thanos and asking ‘What’s up, dude?’. Thanos just smirked and gave a sharp upwards nod towards the other side of the bathroom, jutting out his chin.
Nam-gyu looked toward the direction Thanos had motioned at, and there he was- MG coin, standing at the sink, back rigid and looking as if he could snap like a rubber band. His eyes were unblinking and wide as he held Thanos’ gaze in the mirror.
‘Well, well…look who it is’ Drawled Thanos, stepping lazily toward him. Nam-gyu narrowed his eyes and followed, just a few inches behind Thanos.
‘A dirty fucking scammer’, He sneered, hands in his pockets.
Before Myung-gi could react, both Thanos and Nam-gyu boxed him in on either side. Thanos, with one ankle crossed over the other, tilted his head to the side and grinned.
‘What’cha doin’, MG? Hidin’? Is that it?’
Myung-gi looked down at the sink. He tried to distract himself, tried to block them out, whatever it took to not give them any satisfaction. He focused on the left-over soap bubbles swirling down the drain, the cracks in the porcelain, the rusted tap. The two druggies just continued.
‘Nah, dude, bet he’s thinking about how his channel tanked’ continued Nam-gyu, leaning back on the neighbouring sink in a far-too casual way, head lolling on his shoulder. ‘You feeling dumb yet, MG coin? Mourning your little subscribers?’
Myung-gi’s fingers tightened on the sink. He refused to look up at them.
Thanos snorted and leant in a bit closer.
‘Nah man, he’s probably just embarrassed he’s such a ticklish bitch’ He flicked Myung-gi on the forehead in an attempt to get a reaction, but still- nothing.
Resist, resist, resist
Myung-gi wanted nothing more than to shout back something equally scathing, something that would shut them up, but he knew better.
‘Either that, or planning on how to win his little pregnant bitch back’
Myung-gi bristled.
‘You sure it’s even yours, man?’ Thanos grinned, all teeth. ‘Who’d wanna touch you like that anyway, huh?’
Myung-gi couldn’t hold himself back. His head snapped to Thanos so fast it almost hurt as he pushed himself off the sink and snapped a ‘Shut the FUCK up!’
For a moment there was silence. Thanos’ eyebrows raised and he looked genuinely amused. Nam-gyu held a sweater-pawed fist to his mouth and smiled into his sleeve, eyes flicking from Myung-gi to Thanos.
Thanos grabbed Myung-gi’s collar, pulling him close until they were practically nose-to-nose.
‘You wanna try that again, Coin?’ He purred, grip tightening. Myung-gi forced the steely look on his face to remain strong as he glared back defiantly, despite every part of him wanting to shove Thanos off and run.
‘I said- shut the fuck up’ Myung-gi repeated himself, cold panic spiking in his chest when Thanos’ grin widened and he let out a delighted chuckle.
‘You’re a fucking idiot, boy’ He sneered, looking over MG’s shoulder and nodding at Nam-gyu.
In an instant Nam-gyu hooked a leg around Myung-gi’s own and pulled- Thanos pushed back on his collar, and Myung-gi found his balance thrown on its head as he hit the grimy tiles below with a sharp ‘agh!’.
Thanos’ eyes were wild with giddy, unhinged excitement and he bent down, grabbing an ankle and pulling Myung-gi closer. Nam-gyu was already walking round to position himself above Myung-gi’s head and grabbing his wrists. Thanos settled down on Myung-gi’s waist like he belonged there, ignoring Myung-gi’s frantic twisting and turning.
And just like that- he was at their mercy, in the exact same position as he was a couple of days ago. He hated that it felt…familiar.
‘Hey- no! No, no, no, not this shit again!’ Which only earnt a sharp tug of his wrists from Nam-gyu, and a nasty ‘Should’ve just stayed quiet, bro!’
Thanos slammed his hands on either side of Myung-gi’s head and leant forward, foreheads almost touching. Myung-gi didn’t even have enough room to turn his head away, forcing eye contact.
‘Oh, come on, Nam-gyu. You know we’d have done this again anyway’ he said in such a way it made the ex-youtuber’s skin crawl with dread.
Nam-gyu giggled, tightening his hands around Myung-gi’s wrists so hard he was sure they’d bruise. ‘Yeah, true. His fault for being so damn ticklish’
Thanos set himself upright, his hand settling on the curve of the younger man’s side. His other hand pressed on Myung-gi’s stomach to keep him from squirming.
‘Guys- seriously- this isn’t fucking funny’
The two pill poppers burst into laughter as if Myung-gi had just told the funniest joke they’d ever heard.
‘I don’t know, man’ Sneered Thanos, the hand on Myung-gi’s waist squeezing ever so slightly. Myung-gi held his breath, determined not to give any reaction. ‘Seems pretty fuckin’ hilarious from where I’m sittin’’.
His hand suddenly squeezed firmer and quicker, rapid ticklish pulses that shot to Myung-gi’s brain.
‘Fuhuhuck! S-stop ihihit!’ The youtuber didn’t have a chance, nerves already fried from the intimidation back at the sink, and he dissolved into helpless giggles.
‘There it is!’ Thanos crowed and squeezed even faster (grin widening at the yelp it elicited), the hand on his stomach starting to scrunch in awful clawing motions. He could feel the lean muscles under MG’s shirt tense and jolt as his laughter grew more frantic.
Nam-gyu looked down at Myung-gi, his hair falling in messy swoops.
‘Poor ticklish little scammer! Come on MG coin, you were on the run for like, six months. You can handle this, right?’
The younger man most certainly could NOT handle this. His laughter was wild and, annoyingly, sounding far too bright and happy for the situation. He couldn’t help it- laughter was laughter, after all. His body betraying him, he had no choice but to laugh and laugh.
‘Ohohoho my gohoHOHOD! FUHUHUhuhucking stohohoHOP!’
Thanos brought the hand on MG’s stomach to crawl up his shirt to get better access. He pressed down until he felt the resistance of muscle, curled his fingers and shook his hand into his abs. Myung-gi SCREAMED and his legs kicked out, trying to twist his upper-body away from the assault.
‘You like that? Huh?’ the purple haired man taunted and shuffled himself slightly, bringing his hand from Myung-gi’s waist to his under-arm and spidering them in that excruciating feather-light way he remembered Myung-gi hated.
‘He must do, Hyung, listen to how happy he sounds!’ Nam-gyu was leaning on his knees, putting pressure on Myung-gi’s wrists as he lazed leisurely like he wasn’t helping bring a grown man into hysterics.
‘Yeah man, we should be charging for this. You’re having fun, right, MG coin?’
Myung-gi’s laughter became frustrated and desperate and he tried tugging his wrists free, not even a conscious effort but just instinct. Nam-gyu didn’t let him budge an inch.
‘YOUHUHU FUHUHUHUCKERS! YOU A-AHAHA-ABSOLUHUHUTE FUHUHUCKERS!!’
The sensations of the vibrating at his stomach and the feathery torture under his arm brought tears of mirth to his eyes, his chest was starting to hurt from laughing so hard.
Nam-gyu used a knee to press on his wrists, freeing up his hands. He drilled his fingers into MG’s free armpit, Thanos’ fluttering fingers in the opposite a harsh contrast to the more intense touch. The club promoter’s other hand snaked under Thanos’ stretched forearm to vibrate at Myung-gi’s upper ribs.
‘Dude, you’re like, super skinny. I can feel every single one of your ribs, man’ Nam-gyu mused casually, forcing fingers into the gaps between bone as if actually counting them.
‘Nah, boy, his stomachs where it’s at’ Replied Thanos, withdrawing his hand scribbling at MG’s pit- only to shove it roughly under his shirt, joining his other hand, poking and prodding in rapid motions. ‘I swear I can feel your organs, Coin’ he barked out a laugh, ‘shit man, you ever eat?’
‘PLEAHAHAHSE! PLEAHAHahahahAHASE! I CAHAHAahaAHAHNT FUHuhuhHUHUCKING-‘
Clink
‘Oh, shit-‘
Thanos froze, hands stilling on Myung-gi’s stomach. Nam-gyu hadn’t noticed anything and just kept going, both hands in the youtuber’s armpits drilling and digging and keeping him squirming and hysterical.
‘Dude, dude, stop’ Thanos urged, furrowing his brow as his eyes darted over Myung-gi’s torso.
Nam-gyu eased up and shot the older man a look of confusion. Myung-gi heaved and panted, face red and tears blurring his vision, pooling at his temples. He didn’t know why it had stopped, but he didn’t care. He could finally catch his breath, and the horrid ticklish feelings had stopped.
‘Come on man, it was just getting good’
‘Nah wait, I- fuck, I’ve lost a ring’
Nam-gyu blinked at him. His fingers twitched like he was about to just start up again anyway. ‘Huh?’
‘One of my fuckin’ rings fell off’ Thanos started poking around under Myung-gi’s shirt experimentally. ‘Maybe if the little shit didn’t squirm so damn much…’
He continued feeling around, fingers invading every inch of MG’s torso. He wasn’t even trying to tickle Myung-gi right now, genuinely just trying to find his ring. ‘Where the fuck is it…shit’s expensive…’ He murmured, mostly to himself.
Myung-gi’s body couldn’t tell the difference. It didn’t matter that Thanos wasn’t intentionally tickling him- it did tickle. Not to the point of the same hysterical laughter as when they were actually trying, but still infuriating all the same.
‘Ihihihi…heheheahaha…’ Small, breathless giggles escaped him and against his will he squirmed involuntarily.
‘Stop fuckin’ moving, Coin boy’ warned Thanos, shifting in place to reach his hands round the back of MG’s shirt, forcing his back to arch slightly.
‘I ca-cahahahan’t hehehelp it! You’re tihihickling mehehe-EEE!’ He squealed when Thanos thought he’d found the ring, jabbing into his side quickly to grab it in case it disappeared again, but it was nothing. He gave a ‘tsk’ of frustration, continuing the search.
‘No I’m not, you little fuck. Just hold still’
‘YOU ARE! You’re fuhuhuhucking tihihihickling!’
Thanos narrowed his eyes and squeezed Myung-gi’s sides in three ticklish pulses, intentional now, making his laughter amp up.
‘That’s tickling’ and then leant close to MG’s face, ‘I won’t say it again. Stay. The fuck. Still’
He stayed there for a few more seconds, staring into Myung-gi’s eyes sternly to make sure he got the message, before sitting himself upright again and resuming trying to find his ring.
Myung-gi tried. He really did. And he was doing a good job of it too, until Nam-gyu decided he was bored of just sitting there and needed to make things more…interesting.
He watched as Thanos practically put his arm halfway up Myung-gi’s shirt, not even looking at either of them, lost in the search. Myung-gi was still giggling, trying not to move, snorting when Thanos hit a particularly bad spot. The youtuber’s eyes were squeezed shut with effort and neither of the two men noticed when Nam-gyu, with an evil grin, quietly positioned his hands above Myung-gi’s armpits and drilled in.
It was just a few seconds, but it was so unexpected and intense that Myung-gi squealed and his entire body jolted, legs kicking out like he was trying to run through the floor itself.
Thanos snapped upright with an angry ‘Myung-gi!’, and shot his hands down to the hollows of the youtuber’s hips. He kneaded his thumbs into the divots in tight, furious circles, sending shockwaves through Myung-gi’s core- and just like that he was back in absolute hysterics, so frantic his laughter turned silent for a second.
The tickling was so bad he could hardly keep up with his own laughter, fresh tears springing to his eyes within seconds.
‘IHIHIHIT WAS HIHIHIM!! HE FUHUHUHUHUCKING- GAH! NOHOHOHOHO!’
‘Don’t blame Nam-gyu just because you’re too pathetic to be touched, Coin’ Thanos jeered, ignoring the stifled laughter from his partner in crime.
‘Yeah dude, I didn’t fucking do anything. You’re just dramatic’
Despite the frustration, Thanos couldn’t help but smile, still digging into that horrid spot above Myung-gi’s hips. As much as he hated the scammer, his laughter was contagious, and seeing him all flushed and giggly when he was usually such a serious downer was hilarious.
Myung-gi was in pieces below him, laughter high-pitched and desperate.
Suddenly-
Clink
There was the sound of metal hitting tile and Thanos immediately lit up with child-like glee, shoving his right hand up further into MG’s shirt and feeling his fingers curl around something cold.
‘Fucking finally!’
‘You found it?’
‘Yeah man. Always the last place you look, huh?’ Replied Thanos, holding the ring to the light with theatrical flourish before putting it back on his finger, twisting the chunky silver band as if testing it wasn’t in danger of falling off again.
Myung-gi panted below, straining his head to the side to wipe tears of laughter off on his shoulder. Much to his chagrin, he couldn’t wipe the smile off his face, like his body had decided it had been laughing so much that it was now a default setting.
‘Right, you- you got your stupid ring back. I’m done, okay? That’s enough. Leave me alone’
Thanos and Nam-gyu looked down at him slowly. Like they couldn’t quite believe what they were hearing.
‘You’ve had enough?’ asked Nam-gyu with exaggerated mocking confusion. ‘What about us?’
Thanos scoffed, a nasty smirk on his face as he cocked his head to the side. ‘Yeah MG coin, don’t be so selfish’
Myung-gi looked at them with wide eyes.
‘Wh-what? What do you-?’
He was cut off by Thanos placing his fully-ringed hands on MG’s sides, drumming them teasingly.
‘What, you thought that whole shit with me trying to find my ring counts? No way, boy!’
‘No no no, come on! Come the fuck on! It’s been hours!’
Nam-gyu snorted and in a far too casual tone said, ‘Oh come on MG coin, it’s been literally 10 minutes at most’
Myung-gi’s thrashing renewed, this time not involuntarily from tickling but just the sheer instinct to get away.
‘You can’t!! I can’t fucking take anymore!’
Thanos just grinned and Nam-gyu had already got his hands on the hollows of Myung-gi’s underarms once again.
‘Let’s hear those pretty little giggles again, MG coin’

Myung-gi: I literally called the person who just flirted with you a degenterate dog and told them I hope they get dragged through the streets.
Y/n: I'm so in love with you.
