Rick's caught in a web, trapped between his troubled son and the unintentional distance he's put between himself and the others by picking up a shovel instead of a gun.

Rec Notes: The story is a contemplative look into Rick’s angst around the end of season 3. Coupled with the fact that Rick and Daryl are at odds until the very end, it can be kind of serious. That being said, the writing was done in a pleasing literary style, and it had a really strong, satisfying ending.
