i had a revelation today whilst making mac and cheese

i collect quotes like they’re bible verses

and then i wondered if that’s just part of being human?

i think it is! as mr. keating says: “these are what we live for.”

idk i thought it was kind of interesting to think of from the pov of someone who grew up in the church and left it later in life, like everyone hd their favourite Bible verses that meant a lot to them whereas i have song lyrics and poem lines and book quotes that are my favourite verses from life
