I'm a Latina (I'm from Brazil) and I can't tell you how excited I was to see a woman, the protagonist of a superhero movie, with an accent on screen. Even tho it was not the same accent I have, it was refreshing to hear. Diana and the amazons had an accent and were kicking ass and I walked out of the theater with my heart about to explode. I'm really excited for black women to watch Black Panther and feel the same way I did. Yes I know Wonder Woman was made for all women but you know what I mean... It feels amazing to recognize yourself on a movie, considering it doesn't happen very often in Hollywood (if you're not white or American of course).
