It's the most wonderful time of the year . . . For slime molds!

unexpected slime mold on our walk i didn’t even have my good camera but its okay i will go back and check on her
You know, a couple days ago I woke up thinking "It's about the time slime molds should start showing up around here." And sure enough, later that day I found this lovely specimen of Didymium spongiosum!
