A gorgeous new-to-me slime mould found on a rotting ash hulk. I think it keys out to Lamproderma arcyrioides.

You know, a couple days ago I woke up thinking "It's about the time slime molds should start showing up around here." And sure enough, later that day I found this lovely specimen of Didymium spongiosum!
big patch of coral slime (Ceratiomyxa sp) being absolutely feasted on by a congregation of springtails :)
