For @loz-femslash-week day 4 - Light & Dark: Alternate Worlds / Morality / Conflict. How about something that lets me imply all four at once, huh? I asked my friends if I should be self indulgent with this one and they said yes so here we are. I cannot help that I love what umi has to say about compassion and the lack of it for the culprit - both an inhuman monster for their actions, and only accepted as human when people want someone to punish. It is only when approached with compassion for the culprit that the mystery can be solved.

One can only imagine why I'd want to invoke that here.
