Hi! Im a new fan, and I have been watching it from the beginning; but I feel like Ive missed so much in terms of David & Gillian- Ive been going through your early years but still, I was wondering if there is somewhere which has it all timelined, of everything with the two of them on the xfiles such as photos, interviews etc, basically everything!! Coming into this show, and I want to know everything about it. Any suggestions how?? Thank you!!
This is an admirable wish, but... no, there is no such thing. Newcomers can either do it the old-fashioned way (actually comb through the old websites with 90% of print articles and talk show transcripts archived) or put up with Tumblr-style mishmash. Even to go through my archive and make a master post of everything in order would be a massive undertaking -- and it’s probably impossible now to work out when the interviews actually took place (vs. when they were published). Post-2002 it becomes somewhat easier to outline (see my Timeline of the Awkward for approx. 2002-2014), but I’ve dropped the ball since then (though I’ve seen very thorough -- if not, hrm, completely SCIENTIFIC -- timelines since then). Sorry, guys.
