Seats & Upholstery:
Polaris: 60 open suite units upholstered in blue material with black and blue leather headrests. These units had 180 degrees reclining capability, with a pitch of 75 to 78 inches and a width of 23 inches.
Economy Plus: 102 standard seats upholstered in black and blue leather with adjustable headrests. These seats had 4 inches of reclining capability, with a pitch of 34 inches and a width of 17 inches.
Economy: 204 standard seats upholstered in black and blue leather with adjustable headrests. These seats had 3 inches of reclining capability, with a pitch of 31 inches and a width of 17 inches.
Inflight Entertainment: This aircraft had seatback entertainment screens with access to Direct TV, with over 100 TV channels, and movies. Internet was available for purchase by connecting laptops and/or mobile devices to “United_Wi-Fi”. Audio Video On Demand (AVOD) was available, offering a range of music. First Class Economy Plus seats had AC power ports.
Snacks & Meals:
Post-Takeoff Service: On this flight a beverage and light snack service was offered shortly after takeoff. This included wine and beer. The snack was pretzels.
Dinner: A full meal service was offered. The choices were, Korean chicken or fried rice. I chose the Korean chicken. This meal came with a green salad and a dinner roll with butter. Beverages were offered again with this meal service.
Dessert: Villa Dolce Salted Caramel Gelato, made with Real California Milk was offered for dessert.
During Flight: Throughout the entire flight, flight attendants offered bottled water. Half way through the flight, I asked for some coffee. The fight attendant went above and beyond and brewed a fresh pot and served it with a Belgian chocolate!
Breakfast: An hour prior to landing a breakfast service was offered. The choices were an omelet or Cinnamon Swirl French Toast. I did not order, however, these meal options were served with fruit on the side, along with another beverage service.
General Information: On flight over 3.5 hours, you can order meals off the “Bistro on board” menu and “Snack Shop”. In Premium Cabins, you are offered snacks on flight under 2.5 hours. On flight over 2.5 hours you are offered a full meal service.
Additional Notes: Flight attendants placed small bouquets of flowers in each of the lavatories.
