About Cyrus

Cyrus is the child of Maya and Aadit. Since birth, Cryus has been affectionate and loving, attributes he gets from his mother, Maya. Cyrus is also very curious and has a great love for adventure, traits given to him by his father, Aadit. Cyrus is recklessly fearless, a fighter, and a hard worker. Cyrus at a young age was a bright, happy child who enjoyed talking with the locals, but as he aged, he began to keep to himself, buried deep in his findings, and instead could usually be found reading or writing in his notebook. Cyrus' relationship with Aadit after his disappearance, grew bitter as he saw the effect it had on his mother as he aged. 

Cyrus always had a keen sense of wanting to travel, to see more of the world outside of Portia. At 15 years old, Cyrus decided to start working at the Research Center to learn more about the world around him. Cyrus can always be found carrying a notebook holding scattered pieces of scriptures. Scriptures filled with information of cities and legends about the old and present world.

From Cyrus' constant search for knowledge, he began to do more research on his father, on the state of Duvos, and the world outside the Alliance of Free Cities. Cyrus with his findings began to grow a reckless desire to find his father, not only for himself, but for the sake of his mother's closure and the closure that she never received. Cyrus, when turning nineteen, finally makes the decision to look for his father, Aadit. With all his findings and research, Cyrus is led to a hidden village in the desert ruins of Ethea, near the borders of where both Barnarock and Highwind connect. There Cyrus meets Naati, the prince of Laa’son. Naati being enamored by Cyrus decides to tag along with him in his journey to find his father.

About Naati

Residing in Laa’son, Naati is one of the few remaining native Etheanians along with his sister and grandfather. Flamboyant in nature, Naati is also charismatic and pesky, he enjoys to play tricks but as well loves getting the best out of people. Naati frequently wanders off the bounds of Laa'son. Aside from being mischievous and creating trouble, Naati on his free time enjoys going into disguise when outside Laa'son. When wandering outside Laa'son he likes going to other small towns and pubs to preform magic and trick shows with his pet guardian, Nagi, a Maned Wolf.

Naati is the Prince of Laa'son but does not worry about the future of the throne since Yaala, his older sister, is next in line. As much as Naati and Yaala love pestering each other they have a close and loving bond. Yaala is the Princess and future Queen of Laa’son, while Yaatu is currently in throne.
