I’m having thoughts about this scene…

Once we get past Ámbar’s monologue, Sharon enters. This is one of the most maternal moments we ever see her having with Ámbar, and it is still entrenched in a need for revenge. This is also one of the most vulnerable moments for Ámbar. She brings up something that has most certainly been plaguing her: how does Sharon feel about knowing that Luna is biologically related to her? All of the ranting about Luna comes into focus here… it’s not about hating Luna, it’s about having that fear that Luna will replace her in just one more place, the biggest place. You can see the first seed of that here. Her relationship with Sharon has so much animosity, but it’s all she has.

Ámbar's big numbers throughout the show clearly demonstrate how Valentina refined her technique and found her style throughout the years that Soy Luna is in production. From Mírame a mí to Catch Me If You Can and Cómo me Ves to Claroscuro, she makes clear improvements in her tone and range, and it's obvious that the style of Claroscuro is best suited for her voice. I just think that's cool.
