“good morning, na'el~” you hummed your girlfriend's name, as you rolled over on the bed to get a good look at her. though suddenly, you found a pillow pressed against your face, obscuring your view.

“don't look at me, i'm a mess…” na'el whined, causing you to chuckle and remove the pillow, to get a look at your beautiful girlfriend.

“you look absolutely stunning, especially with bed hair!” you teased your girlfriend, pressing a kiss onto her forehead. “and i'm the luckiest person in the world to wake up next to you every morning”

most of the time, you and na'el were the ones making the first move and even having your firsts with each other, before glimmer slowly began to get more comfortable in a relationship

matthew glared at you for a moment, his expression completely serious, before he pulled away and smiled again

after all, he just wants to see his little sister happy and you're obviously making her happier than she's ever been!

na'el and you often visit the orphanage and play with the children there

and everytime the two of you head home again, she'll mention how badly she wants kids of her own one day

na'el already knows what she wants for her future and she knows she wants to spend it with you

she doesn't mind waiting a bit longer for marriage and children, as long as she knows that it's happening someday

na'el often plays the piano for you and you always admire how good she is at it!

you often join na'el and matthew during their training sessions

though if it's just the two of you, then you'll run na'el a bath while she's eating and after she has eaten and bathed, you'll cuddle with her in bed until the two of you fall asleep

after the destruction of the city, na'el had vanished and you had been worrying about her like crazy. when you finally reunited with her again, she was different. this wasn't your na'el anymore and the others had noticed it too. shulk and rex had called it 'alpha'. apparently this alpha was using your girlfriend's body as a vessel!

you weren't sure if na'el was still in there or what alpha was truly capable of, so you knew you had to be careful. when you and the others reached origin, you finally came face to face with na'el – or rather alpha.

you were hesitant to attack, but held your blade ready as you carefully approached the one who looked like your girlfriend

"na'el… is it still you? can you hear me?"

and there it was again; that cold smile. as she reached out her hand for you and smiled, you could tell it wasn't na'el. na'el's smile had always been so genuine, but this looked nothing like her anymore. she was just alpha's puppet right now…

"i'm sorry it had to come to this"

you raised your blade, taking a deep breath. you turned your head and looked at the others, locking eyes with matthew. he too had realized it. realized what had to be done. in order to free na'el, they first had to get rid of alpha. there was a chance this could go wrong, but it was the only way!

"i'll save you, na'el. don't worry! i'll get rid of him and then we can finally be together again…"
