I'd honestly love to see a 2doc child. I can't get it out of my head that 2D's species young does some crazy shit, like crawls on walls or eats metal or some shit and Murdoc is just like 'STUART OUR CHILD JUST FUCKING CHOMPED BATTERIES' and 2D's in the corner just casually munching on a pack of them like yeah? or even better 2D's species gives birth to litters and they end up with like six mix species babies from one pregnancy and Murdoc is just fucking ded after two weeks

Idk about the litters though, the Nahuei are naturally really slender and i don’t think that their body type would be good for carrying multiples. Maybe. Idk, I’ll have to give it more thought! How flexible is 12D-3?

Specimen 12D-3 is practically a contortionist! He can twist around, his elbows are double jointed, his range of motion is wider than a human’s, and he can touch his wrists to the floor while keeping his legs straight. The Nahuei are typically much more flexible than humans, and 12D-3 is no exception!

Do the Nahuei celebrate any holidays like we do Christmas and Halloween? Would the band wake up one morning to find little succulents left in their shoes and coloured ribbon in their hair (or in Russel’s case round his ears) when it’s a Nahuei holiday?

12D-3 doesn’t really know much about Nahua or Nahuei traditions, but in the off-chance that he does learn about the holidays that occur on Nahua, he would totally celebrate them. I can imagine Murdoc waking up to find really small succulents literally everywhere and just shrugging it off and getting his coffee (with a generous splash of whiskey of course). “What’s the occasion?” “English translation of the holiday is Succulent Day. I can’t pronounce the actual name though.” “Happy Succulent Day then.” “Happy Succulent Day to you too!”

If 12D-3 were to do something stupid which makes him break his arm would it heal at the same speed as a human or take shorter/longer to do so? Also would he be a baby about it or just walk it off

It would heal a bit faster (by about a week or so), but he’d be a baby about it. The Nahuei don’t have much pain tolerance at all. They rely on medicines derived from the funky plants to treat their pain, and just the air itself keeps them at least a little buzzed almost constantly (the adjustment to life on earth or basically any other planet is a bit rough as a result). Seeing Murdoc nearly die so many times and just walk it off makes him want to walk it off too. He feels that he overreacts to pain because he’s not used to it, so as a result, he does try to keep quiet about it. This ain’t always a good thing tho, y’all. This is the same shit Murdoc pulls, and it’s Not Healthy. As soon as Murdoc finds out, he tries to put a stop to it. Minor things such as a cut or bruise aren’t much to complain about, but being sick or seriously injured? You gotta tell someone so you can get help. Of course, 12D-3 calls Murdoc out for being a hypocrite, because Murdoc will get stabbed or beat up and just shrug it off, drink some rum, and patch it up himself (if he doesn’t pass out from blood loss first). Won’t tell anyone anything, goes to great lengths to hide the fact that anything is wrong. They come to an agreement that if something is wrong, they’ll at least tell each other.

Can the Nahuei dream share? If so can they do so with other receptive species?

It’s not exactly dream-sharing like with the Gelflings, but something similar can occur using their feelers. Touching their feelers to the feelers of another Nahuei can project strong feelings and a vivid mental image. With non-Nahuei individuals, the strong feelings can still be projected by touching their feelers to the non-Nahuei’s temples. 

12D-3 does this with Murdoc sometimes, as a display of strong affection. Murdoc has a habit of doubting that people care about him because he feels he doesn’t deserve to be cared about. 12D-3 counters this by showing him just how strong his affection is in a way that not even Murdoc’s self-loathing can dispute.

The emotion projection is achieved via chemicals and hormones, which are transferred via contact. The connection remains for the duration of the contact, tending to fade after the contact is broken. But the feelings take a while to wear off.
