Tama Family

I was looking through my Tama Family page earlier, clicking through each blog to learn about how you guys have held up. I’ve really kept in contact with some of you fairly well (through twitter, I’m looking at you @currynin and @tei-gen ). Some of the links to your blogs don’t work, some are redirects, some I assumed have left tumblr, and the links are the only thing left of the people on the list.

I didn’t know all of you super well, but you were irreplaceable friends to me. I dunno what you guys are doing with your lives now, but I hope things are going well for you. Gintama is ending soon, but if it’s taught me anything, it’s that there’s something worthwhile in even the smallest of shared moments.

And hey! I’m still here. If you guys see this, I’m happy to hang out with you guys again 8). I even have a discord/twitter/instagram now! I’m even still active on this hellsite lol.

Yoi is making them tons of money though, so its not as if they need this to mkae up for it. But ill concede that ti would have to be have been made way before yoi actually aired so its not as if they knew that before

I really like the YOI episode 9 AU for narumitsu that you wrote, would it be okay if i wrote a fanfic inspired by it or used it as a prompt?

Wow- yes, sure! Go for it! Depending on how things go, I might do something along those lines at some point, but it’s not a definite thing, mostly because I have so much else. And I don’t want to shift which fandom I’m writing for yet. So I’d love to see other peoples’ take on it! 

(You meant the ‘drunk confessions’ one, right? I think that was episode 10 but don’t mind me-)

NEITHER DO I, I NEVER THOUGHT YUURI WOULD TACKLE IT WITH THAT APPROACH!! honestly I’m surprised by this anime, so far the characters are really enjoyable.

Why is that? It was pretty funny, everyone in the theatre we went to laughed at all the awkward funny moments haha

American humor, especially that of Marvel’s, doesn’t translate well to the Japanese audience.

First experience I had with this was when I watched Age of Ultron, and I was the only one laughing.

Same thing happened yesterday when I watched Captain America: Civil War. Audience was dead silent and I had to hold back on the laughter.

Then again, maybe it’s different if it’s dubbed. I’ll get around to watching the dub whenever, I guess.

Yeah, I feel that Kiznaiver is actually really shallow as a plot, which is disappointing cause I was excited for the new Trigger anime. On the other hand, I guess I’ll keep watching it just for the animation

The animation is gorgeous. But yes, it feels like theyre trying to make a shallow plot deep, and for me are failing to do so, while throwing dumb logic at me.

Hopefully you got the lil submission fic thing that I wrote for you. 

If anyone else in the tama family sees this, I hope that you go and congratulate them on their birthday. 

Katsura is always on standby as it is. Can’t have everyone else be on standby for this day, right? 

Even if you aren’t a part of the Tama Family, it’s always nice to congratulate someone on their birthday, right? 0w0/

I've seen Hamatora and I don't know whether you mean that as a good or a bad thing

Its similar so far in general setting (people with superpowers form a detective agency) and somewhat with characters. Hopefully it wont go down like re:hamatora

Dunno. So far they havent really shown what the actual plot/threat will be
