Bcjskfjgjf I go back and rewatch an ep every once in a while and I'm always taken aback by new feelings I get. I most recently watched 1.69 Million and I can't stop thinking about The Picture. What's your HC for first, where it currently is, what Ava's mindset was when she took it, and second, how Deborah finds out about it?

Ahh yes! The picture is one of my very favorite details from that episode! I feel like Ava walked by it, already in a weird place after having to tell her dad not to come and fighting with Deborah about the past, and it was a kind of head empty, "my girlfriend Deborah said she didn't like this creep having some claim on "making her" by hanging her photo on the wall, so fuck it, dead or not, now he doesn't" kinda act. I suspect she might have intended to give it to Deborah that night after the set as a kind of joint apology and congrats on trying this scary new thing gift all in one, only she got hella distracted by the Kathy stuff and ended up hanging onto it.

IMO, it's now very carefully stowed away with the rest of Ava's stuff, and my dream for the future is that Ava gives it to Deborah either after the first time that the new act kills on the road (très romantique) OR as part of an apology post-email reveal (something like an "I took it b/c Ira didn't deserve to have you on his wall, but I fucked up, and it's not mine to have either; this is your life and your future, etc."). I'd absolutely love the parallelism of the photo having a similar effect as the framed Time cover did in the finale of S1 with getting through to Deborah in a way little else would or could. But we'll see!!

21. An overrated actor

Answered here, but there are so many overrated actors out there right now, I’ll give another, haha. Ryan Reynolds. While I can occasionally find him fun and charming, I do not understand how he has the career or the social capital he has. Also he had a plantation wedding??? 

22. An overrated actress

This is a really controversial opinion but I’m going to say Audrey Hepburn. She’s an amazing woman who lead an amazing life, but I think she’s one of the weaker of the golden age actresses, and with the exception of a few of her interesting later roles (Wait Until Dark springs to mind), I think she’s pretty one-note. 

23. An overrated director

Rian Johnson, but that could be because I hated Knives Out, haha. Also I know you’ll hate me for this, but I can’t with Ari Aster either. I didn’t like either Midsommar or Hereditary, despite Florence and Toni’s excellent respective performances.

Rio is deff the jealous one, dude. He's got such a possessive personality. I mean, I'm down to be surprised, but I can see him snap out of jealousy. It explains Beth's "You're not going to shoot me and we both know it" face. I want to know what the thing she did is though!

AGREED! Rio has a short temper, he has shown that he lets his feelings get the best of him at times but up ‘til now he was able to control it at the last minute. We can see how he clenched his jaw and probably counted to ten in his head before doing something he’d regret in a few scenes back in season 1, like he was trying to keep his cool, and not do something to break his  cool façade in front of the girls ( not unless it was needed. We have  that episode when  he breaks those dolls bc he knows they need to see what he is capable of). There are two ways you can read that tweet and one is: ppl were asking why he was pointing a gun at Beth. Why he looked so angry? And she said Beth did something, and that she did it for a reason. So, that is the reason why Rio is doing that to her. Then, she says Jealousy is a tricky feeling, right? Complicated and messy, as we know… My guess is that she did something and he got jealous. Now, I wonder what she did and if it involves Dean  ( bc what other man Beth has in her life aside from Rio and Dean, right?)

I want to discuss Beth's gun cause you just know Rio got that fucking gun specifically for her. it was always HER gun and I can't handle it. my goddd.

OH MY GOD I THOUGHT THE SAME THING. The second I saw that gun, I was like, what are the odds that THAT was the gun he got for her? Because he knew that if any of the three were going to do it, it was going to be Beth. My current headcannon is that Rio knew at some point he was going to be taking her under his wing and he picked that specifically for her.

I'd like RIo to have a rare day off and he's bored out of his mind but Beth is running errands and he's like "let me go with you" and she's like "mmm nope" and he's like "why?" and she's like "fine but you'll be bored" cause she's going shopping and it just so happens to be lingerie shopping.

YES And he is way more interested than she expected, he just barges in and is like, what about this? And this? Or this? And it turns into a super sexy game of how-turned-on-can-I-get-you-before-you-explode-and-drag-me-somewhere, and there went all her plans for errands.

Or even if it’s just regular shopping and they’re at the mall and pass a lingerie store and he grabs her hand and drags her in, she is just blushing and defiant the whole time. He’s like, “Weren’t you just telling me that one of your good bras is finally giving out?” And she begrudgingly agrees.
