Born into a small but homey Gryffore tribe located in the dry desserts of Gia-Hwaen, Nakisha grew up surrounded by simplicities, culture, and mild poverty. She left her family at a fairly young age to seek better prospects, with the idea of bringing prosperity to her ailing clan. She now lives a well supplied life of borderline hedonism, but makes frequent private trips back to her home to bring treasures and stories.

Nakisha is as much an antagonist as a protagonist, however in her feature story she plays the central role. For most individuals she is not entirely pleasant to be around, as she is argumentative, impossibly proud, trigger-happy and has a frighteningly short temper. She has particularly grey morals, and while not necessarily a bad person, she has no respect for the life of humans, or anyone of any species who stands in her way or insults her pride.

Once she found herself part of a mismatched pirate crew, Nakisha discovered her strengths and true path in life, and it suited her to a tee. After their Captain was captured by the State, Nakisha called rank and assumed control of the entire ship and crew. Under her lead the entire party enjoyed a string of grand successes of increasing magnitude to suit their new Captain's ever growing greed, eventually venturing out beyond the shores of the continent into uncharted territory in search of the next big treasure.
