Hello,Sort of nervous as I’ve never actually done An ask before,It’s mostly roleplays I do.. But Anyways,I was just wondering What you think of the Name Flurry Blizzard—If there’s any confusion the name isn’t meant to be an icecream it’s supposed to Be like a winter Storm. Anyhow,Flurry is a mostly white cat,But she has black stripes,Muzzle,Under fur one black paw and the back of her ears Are black. Her nose is also White and her eyes are an icy Blue.

Reminds me of Dairy Queen haha no I get the idea behind the name! I'd say black stripes may be a little dramatic when associated with the name (dark grey may work better), but it's scarcely a big issue. Definitely gives vibes of a wild cat I would say, while the name could refer to her color I like to also consider personality and such. Given the connotations of both part of her name includes a kind of wildness to it, maybe a very active cat? -Mod S. Spottedfur

Gladestep: I’m not particularly a fan of prefixes that refer to general landscape features or habitats, because they are so big and have so many components. The suffix -step is one that I usually reserve for the rare occasion when a cat has an animal prefix, and their gait and/or mannerisms end up being reminiscent of the animal.

Tigerrose Name Rate?

Hello!! I was wondering if you could name rate this lovely lady’s name (image below). Her name is Tigerrose. She’s a sweet and gentle she-cat who is an extremely skilled Medicine Cat and very close to StarClan. Despite her sweet personality, however, she is not afraid to put her foot down when necessary and never backs down when it comes to what she believes in. I’m not planning on changing her name as I really enjoy it; I was just wondering what your opinions on it were c: And thank you for your opinion- I really appreciate it!

Tigerrose: I will be honest with you, her name doesn’t really fit in with my system at all – I see Tiger- as being for a cat who is predominantly a brown (black) tabby or ginger cat, and while I don’t use -rose, my best guess for what it might mean would be related to raising kits (because of -flower). That said, I do think the name on its own sounds both very feminine and strong, which I like. She also sounds like a neat character.

Ivyfrost: a dark brown tabby or black cat. I don’t really use this suffix, but I tend to think that it would indicate white markings.

Oakpool: a brown or gray-brown tabby who is very calm.

Sunstorm: due to how important the sun us to Clan culture, I wouldn’t use it in a name; regardless, it most likely represents a golden-colored cat. The suffix suits a cat with a dynamic, adaptable, unpredictable personality.

Lynxfang: depending on location, could be a brown tabby or a gray to gray-brown cat. The suffix indicates that this cat is above average in both hunting and fighting, and equally skilled in both.

Skyhawk: this prefix is a little vague, due to variance in the color of the sky based on time of day. I don’t personally use that suffix, but I could see it as equivalent to -talon, which I use like -fang, for above average hunting and fighting skill.

Violetface: depending on location, could be a golden, white, gray, or gray-and-white cat. The suffix indicates an exceptionally attractive cat.

Russetburr: a reddish cat, either ginger or cinnamon. I don’t have any particular meaning for the suffix.

Phoebehop: depending on location, my guess would be either a lilac tortoiseshell (possibly with white) or a black-and-white cat. I’m thinking that perhaps -hop might represent jumping skill, or you could broaden that out to agility overall, if you wanted to.

Startlebelly: this prefix doesn’t say anything about appearance. From the suffix, I would say that this cat is skilled at raising kits.

Cliffwell: I don’t particularly like the use of large landscape-type stuff in names. Anyhow, I imagine this cat would be whatever color the local cliffs are, probably some shade of brown or gray. As for the suffix, it represents as very calm cat.

Kitestare: depending on location (I’m at least assuming NA, since you have a Phoebe- in your group), mostly likely either gray or gray-and-white. I’m guessing the suffix would have something to do with excellent eyesight.
