-----, I’m sorry I tried to forget you sorry I pushed every thought of your dark bedroom and soft hands from my memory like the longing for death and the way I fled those memories like the denial of denial that led me to you in the first place. I’m sorry I yelled at you silently and all alone inside my head in quiet words to people you do and do not know when I told them I didn’t know how to feel about you before you pressed your lips against my skin navigated your way back in to places in my body and my life where no one was welcome and you were not invited.
