Tired fishlady is done with everything and everyone
"Don't trust anyone what smiles too much." "You're so funny, Nanali!" Sketching the sisters last night reminded me I need to do more family pics. Lattice left home at 13 to find a friend who'd gone missing. She never found them, and ended up in the city. Enter Nanali, finder of strays. Lattice knows Nanali as a mother and friend, and if the matriarch might have a strange number of friends in high places, or manage to wrangle out of any law hearing, if the mention of her name makes people nervous, well that's no concern of Lattice's. Nanali is from the coast and held an Arumscir council position before joining the doomed-to-failure fight for coastal independence. She has a grandchild somewhere out there, but they went missing when her son and his wife died.
