Trump and Democrats offer conflicting messages on DACA deal

Protests as Proof for Chuck Schumer
Wednesday’s student protest on the UC Berkeley campus turned destructive and violent as masses assembled to protest the scheduled presentation by Breitbart news senior editor Milo Yiannopoulos. Citing security concerns, the presentation was cancelled, but not before protesters tore apart security barricades and used them to smash out windows of the presentation hall. Street lights were smashed, small fires were set and rocks were thrown until police finally dispersed the crowd, some of whom flowed into the streets inflicting similar vandalism on the surrounding community.
As I watched the well rehearsed troublemakers spin their web of mayhem via live feeds, I was reminded of a recent exchange between Nancy Cordes of CBS and Sen. I would argue that those in disagreement with actions taken by President Obama, such as Republicans and conservatives, prefer things like elections to express their discontent with government. And we just had one of those. Perhaps Senator Schumer could spend a little more time examining the election results, in his search for signs of disapproval with President Obama’s policies and executive actions.
Maybe the hard working and talented Nancy Cordes would like to press him further on this, the next time they bump into each other...
