Meet Nancy David! Local Milkman's Mistress!

I am NOT exaggerating when I say that she is exactly what she is: a narcissistic btch who isn't likable in the slightest.

As of writing this tumblr post, I've actually fleshed her character out quite a while ago (I yap about her to the tnmn havoc server everyday) and you may have seen fanart of her from @silly-sobber-69 already!! I love angst, I love drama, and I LOVE Francis, so Nancy was born and I'm v excited to tell y'all all about her!!!

So........

Nancy is a rich model lady whose self-esteem relies solely on her looks and she's toxic af for it. As stated, she's the local milkman's (Francis') mistress, and she had affairs with him during his marriage with Nacha for a while before the divorce came around. The scandal got around because Francis admitted to it, but her dad (the vice mayor was actually able to at least influence stuff and so it only got to a limited audience. Francis was actually supposed to end their relationship, but she got pregnant with his (and biologically Izaack's child as well) and she used that as leverage for their relationship to keep going its course. I'll be posting Francheska stuff soon too dw guys 🤭🤭

So anyways!! Nancy lives in a high class apartment, very separate from TNMN. She has more family members like Edward David who is generally a gay menace, Nancy and Edward do not get along LMAO

Since Nancy is a model she's also very good at fashion, makeup, and her own hairstyling!! She's very concerned with her appearance and never lives it down. If you want to ask more Nancy stuff, my asks are always open!!

一 TNMN Original Characters (part 1)

I promised an introductory post for my TNMN OCs and, starting off strong, we have my first ever OC, we have:

× She is 27 years old. Born on 08/1928.

× The mistress behind the Milkman Affair.

× She is a narcissist and emotionally manipulates Francis into staying with her.

× Has insulted Nacha to her face by calling her fat once.

× Is the secretary for the modeling agency that Elenois and Selenne work for.

× Has a five-year old daughter named Francheska whom she has a chance of bringing with her when requesting entry to the building.

In my TNMN universe, Francis and Nacha were married (past tense), but then the doppelganger lockdown happened and Francis had to take up being a milkman (delivery jobs had a huge increase in wages around the time of the doppelganger event because of the dangers that came with it) so they can live in a middle class apartment and not worry about food (the DDD only cares about the doppelgangers, not everything else necessary for survival lol).

Because of the nature of Francis's job being dangerous, Nacha always lived in fear of him not coming back to the apartment one day and that made their marriage tense. They didn't have arguments, but Nacha was withdrawing to protect herself and one night she blew up on him because it was getting too much. Next thing Francis knew, Nacha had become determined to ignore him for the next few months to 'cool off'.

Enter Nancy David, daughter of Vice Mayor Viktor David, and the pretty woman who had been flirting with him these past couple of months had slipped a number for him to tempt himself with. And after months of silence from his wife and lack of sleep, he gave in to that temptation.

Eventually, Nacha finally communicated with Francis and wanted to fix things between them. Francis, riddled with guilt, confessed to the affair he had been having with Nancy behind her back and ended up divorcing.

At the same time, due to Nancy's notoriety in the apartment, a certain radio channel caught wind of the affair and decided to broadcast it, ruining her and Francis's reputation and sparking drama in the apartment. Luckily, it was shut down before it reached tabloids or television, but Nancy had to be retired from her job as a model and Francis had to live with the shame of getting dirty looks from some of the residents in the apartment.

The reason why Francis stayed with her was because of the second chance her pregnancy with Francheska offered him to still become a good father. I actually made a fic of it here in an old AO3 account!

She holds Francheska as leverage over Francis so he stays in the relationship even if he doesn't really love her.

And as you can see, she doesn't really have that good of a relationship with most of the neighbors (LOL).

I headcanon Mia as a primary school teacher and Nancy's kid is a 5 yr old so they met as parent and teacher. Nancy compliments Mia at least once everytime she sees her and they talk gossip.

Alf doesn't actually like Nancy because of the rumors of her being the Milkman's mistress but maintains a friendly relationship with her alongside his wife.

Robertsky has a cute unrequited crush on the gal and acts silly around her. She tolerates it because he does make her shoes after all.

Elenois and Selenne both agree to never ever talk to the secretary of the modeling agency (Nancy) unless necessary.

Nancy and Izaac are exes, go figure.

Nancy dating Francis and his og wife and kid hating on her speaks for itself.

一 TNMN Original Characters (part 3)

Sorry for taking so long! I've decided to make this part a compilation of the rest of Nancy's immediate family --- The Davids!

From left to right: Edward, Viktor, & Debora

Edward David

He is Nancy's older brother, but he doesn't share the same apartment as her and their parents.

He's 6 years older than Nancy, making him 33 years old. Born on December 21, 1922

Edward is a born psychopath. He lacks remorse, charming, is absolutely shameless over the things he does and says, and overly superficial.

He's an entrepreneur with a successful business selling overpriced colored TV.

Has flirted with Francis to Nancy's face.

Edward is a kleptomaniac and steals things that he deems himself more deserving of.

Viktor David

He's Nancy and Edward's father and the vice mayor of the town TNMN is supposedly set in.

Viktor is Russian.

He was born on April 2, 1902, making him 53 years old.

He exerts a huge control over D.D.D. operations since he has been funding them huge amounts of money.

Viktor is extremely bigoted (and I do not vouch for the things he say).

Does not approve of Francis and has tried to bribe Francis into getting back together with Nacha.

Debora David

Viktor's wife and the mother of Edward and Nancy. However, she is never seen outside of her home.

Debora is American.

She was born on January 21, 1905, making her 50 years old.

Rumors say she has gone completely crazy, though people wonder why she hasn't undergone any lobotomy procedure.

She takes from Viktor's bank account and gives the money to Edward.

She absolutely hates Nancy and feels pity for Francis.

The David Family is one very interesting family---the kind you have definitely seen in teledramas at least once in your life if you've watched TV before.

David as a surname have gotten around pretty much and they've always been rich bastards because they keep marrying into riches as well. However, it really is a lot of forced marriage and illegitimate pregnancies.

Debora is only married to Viktor for money and because of the fact that her older sister who was supposed to be married to him ran away. She very much hates her life and forever grieves her late lover, Penny, who died from a heart condition when she found out about Debora's marriage to Viktor.

Other than that, in my TNMN universe, everything is set in Germany, particularly East Germany. The David Family were residing in the UK before they got invited to live in Germany by Russian associates who were looking to govern Berlin after the war. When him and his family immigrated in Germany, the doppelganger epidemic happened not too long after and he becomes extremely paranoid especially after the mayor himself died to the doppelgangers. Viktor offered the D.D.D. huge sums of money so they can live in their safest and most luxurious apartment and is still continuing to pay for it.

Cruel in private, a samaritan in public. Viktor makes sure his outward image is perfect. Only the people who have interacted with him outside of press release and conferential meetings know that he's an angry man who demeans his own wife, disowns his son for being attracted to men, and enables his daughter's whims.

Speaking of his son, Edward may have had it bad under Viktor's parenting, but he is no saint either. He flirts with anyone, deceives people into buying his products, and is a bit of a madman. While Nancy is being enabled by Viktor, Edward is being enabled by Debora. She would give him large sums of money from Viktor's bank account which he used to fund his own business and would later use for gambling purposes.

He absolutely loves getting a reaction out of people and flirted with every single one of Nancy's boyfriends (even stealing a crush she had from high school). Francis was no exception for this man, he flirted with him at dinner with a baby present in his arms.

For the relationship chart...

Roman used to work for his company as an accountant and he absolutely hated having Edward as his boss.

Only Debora still considers Edward family despite him not calling her mom.

Him and Rafttellyn get along so much because they both relate to being disowned rich kids who worked their way to high class again.

Edward visits the modeling studio Nancy works at sometimes to bother her and got called out by a no-nonsense Elenois who was sticking up for all of the models at this point. He flirted with her to annoy her and then got out of there.

Angus absolutely hates how he deceives his own customers and his way of business.

Isn't it just so funny how almost everyone hates him :sob: Also, I replaced Gloria and Arnold with Debora and David because honestly they just mind their own businesses in my TNMN universe and wouldn't have interacted with the Davids (they're also really bigoted folks so um, yeah, let's have them stay away from these people as far away as possible).

I decided not to make Debora and Viktor's relationship charts because in all honesty, Viktor has very shallow relationships with anyone outside of his own family and it's mostly just the first four colors that you'll see. Debora, on the other hand, never leaves the apartment so how do you even make a relationship chart with that?!?!?

Ahem, as a bonus: Edward has a hobby of shooting people who come onto his yard uninvited and excusing it as just being cautious of doppelgangers lol.

Who were the *other* two children that Nancy and Francis are gonna have after they got married. I genuinely have a bad feeling that Nancy coerced Francis to have those two kids with her? Is that correct? Because if it is, fuck you again Nancy! Maybe if you weren’t such a bad mom to your kids or if you didn’t disown Cheska, then you wouldn’t have died alone in that nursing home 🙄

Speaking of, is Nancy as bad of a mother to her two other kids and how about Francis? Is he any good to them?

Also since you mentioned Cheska visited Francis at his deathbed, did they have a final moment together? Did Francis say anything to Cheska as he’s dying? Did he express any regret towards anything? If so what were they?

They're Franz and Francine! (Very original names from Nancy, I know)

On the bright side, during the marriage, Francis actually had more confidence. Since him and Nancy are living together, he doesn't really fear the prospect of her hiding his own children from him when they argue. Franz and Francine are consensual babies, believe it or not. Francis always wanted a big family for some reason, he just never got that with Nacha (except him focusing on his depressed daughter also kind of messed things up for those two).

Also EXACTLY. If Nancy hadn't disowned Cheska, neglected Franz, and enabled Francine's behavior because she acted like her, then she would at least have one of them still attend her funeral.

Nancy was as good of a mother as Francis was good at setting his boundaries in place (very rare). Again, she neglected Franz as the middle child and he ended up losing his mind as well after getting a drug addiction, even though he looked almost like an exact copy of Francis but more 'charming', she was too busy coddling her other child, Francine. Francine was the golden child of the family, and Nancy put all her effort and focus into her because she reminded her of herself. When she went crazy, Francine took her in for a couple of weeks before sending her to a nursing home because she was embarrassing her own daughter and making ungodly noises at three in the morning to grieve Francis apparently.

Francis's relationship with them is also not very good. In his dedication to Francheska, he ends up sidelining his two other kids which he willingly made with Nancy. Of course, before that, Franz and Francine were also his whole world. But when his most treasured daughter almost committed suicide so early in her life, he felt the need to commit to her more. He also just didn't really have as much say to Francine as her mother and Franz at this point have isolated himself from his family because he kept being forgotten.

Their family dynamic was always intentionally modelled after the Narcissistic Family Tree. As seen here:

Nancy is the narcissist; Francis is the enabler (sorta); Francheska is the scapegoat; Francine is the golden child; and Franz is the lost child.

At Francis's deathbed, only Francheska was allowed to be with him. At this point he could hardly talk because of all the coughing and wheezing, so he trusted his will and multiple letters to Francheska which contained his thoughts instead. In the letters, he wished for Francheska to be happy, to live with Florian ( @simminglytimeladies doorman OC who is friends with Francis ), and that he had loved her for the rest of his life, just like he said he would, and now he will continue to love her beyond life and death. He also had letters addressed to Tacha and Nacha, which she asked for Francheska to give to them at the funeral. Then his will contained instructions for them to be at his funeral as well as stuff like all his money and personal belongings go to his children, with a good portion of it going to Francheska.

Francis regretted many things. He deeply regretted that he could not talk to Nacha and Tacha himself in the letters. That for so many years, he was being a coward to them. He regretted taking his mother's life for granted and never going to college so he could start working early. He regretted giving in to Nancy's temptations. And most of all, he regretted not being able to be the best father for all of his kids.

Another thing I kinda remember is that Francheska is Francis’s kid but at the same time she isnt cuz she got Izaack’s genes? I’m not sure about this but she isn’t actually Francis’s illegitimate daughter but Izaack’s?

Also I’m assuming Nancy’s a terrible mom to Francheska (correct me if I’m wrong).

Also what’s Francis like as a dad to Francheska? Don’t get me wrong, it’s good that he’s taking responsibility as a dad for her since she’s her second chance at being a father. On the other hand he’s not perfect and he fucked up a lot since it costed him his first family to get to that point. Also isnt he an enabler of some sort? I could be wrong on this part too but let me know.

She is, as I like to call her, a combo baby LMAO.

When her design first came out, it was actually an irreversible mistake the artist made where she accidentally made Cheska's hair black and so I posted that to the TNMN Havoc server and that hilariously became a game of find the inherited genes which meant someone from the server matched up the similarities and likelihood of Francheska being Francis or Izaack's kid.

In the end, we ended up deciding that she had a quarter of both Francis and Izaack's gene and they can only find this out through testing them both for paternity because either of them will come up positive.

Nancy thinks she's actually Izaack's child and is making an effort to hide that despite the fact that Francis is her legitimate father too.

Francheska took a paternity test with Francis once and confirmed she was still related to Francis that way.

And yes, you are right on the money. Nancy is a terrible mom to Francheska. Do you know how terrible of a parent you have to be for your daughter to be already be diagnosed with depression when she turned 14 in the 1960s because she almost took her own life???

Francis is a total enabler to Nancy, however, he draws the line at Francheska. Unfortunately, he only gets to see her like, what, a few times a month? And before she turned 5 and was able to finally visit her dad, he saw her for less. A lot of what Nancy says and does to Francheska remains behind closed doors until they actually started living together and, well, that attempt happened. It was actually Francis who ended up asserting to Nancy that Francheska needed mental help.

Nancy was exceptionally bewildered when that happened. She never thought that *her* Francy would stand up to her so firmly. He was not letting it go and he even threatened to leave with Francheska if she insisted on being stubborn.

Francis did his very best to become a good father to Francheska and he did all he could with the limited visits he could get from her during the doppel era. However, this favoritism of his bled towards his interaction with his future children with Nancy and those said children do end up becoming jealous of Francis's attention towards Francheska in particular.

Nancy’s projecting her insecurities onto Nacha atp 🙄

I can understand why she’s insecure about it her freckles and straight hair (does she hide them to fit the 50s beauty standard or something) but constantly projecting her faults onto Nacha isnt gonna cut it for me. It just makes her more ugly to me with that iPhone face of hers.

Sorry. Nacha reigns supreme and I don’t stand for Nacha slander in this household especially coming from Nancy ✊😔

(Also the fact that I heard Nancy slapped Nacha once made my blood boil. My Francis would LEGITIMATELY kill Nancy if she ever hurts Nacha that way. And he would give Nacha every right to bitch slap Nancy out of the earth’s atmosphere)

Also if Nancy has freckles, is the first thing he thought about was Nacha since he never stopped loving her?

Nope, I didn't say that. I think if the affair still happened, Francis would still end up divorcing Nacha anyway because he feels way too much guilt to stay with her.

But otherwise? Sure.

Francis finds out about Nancy's freckles very randomly and he was surprised at first then his eventual thought goes to Nacha, yes. He was more shocked at first that this girl was able to hide the fact that she had freckles for (probably) years!
