Nancy couldn’t take the look from those big ol’ eyes, wrapping her sweater around him with the other hand after adjusting her bag. “Ok, ok... Just-”
She sighed. What was one day away from lessons?
She started back down the steps and toward her house, petting him on the neck.
The girl looked back down at the animal, giving a small smile. -Usually the best she could manage with strangers, furry or not.- “Ok, little guy. You better be glad I live alone so there’s no one to fuss about me bringing animals home..”
