Hey, my Nancy Drew pumpkin got into the finalist list, yay!

Congratulations to all the winners and participants, your pumpkins look great! I love how creative this fandom is, what fun ideas and designs! So many intricate carvings and paintings...

I feel like HER needs a third pumpkin category, besides carving and painting. The carousel, the spinning design-your-own-pumpkin, and the man-eating Blackmoor Manor plant, for instance, were all fantastic and above and beyond just carving. (The carousel with fairy lights was especially charming, but I'm a horse girl, what do you expect? Haha)

Maybe that category could be called "Pumpkin Crafts"? What do y'all think?

Ways to improve @nancydrewgamesofficial:

Make older games compatible with Mac

iPad compatibility for games

A Patreon account (they get money and then the people who send them money get something in return—an update on MID, coupons for video games, an ND book of the person’s choice, audition to be a voice actor/actress, etc. depending on how much money the person gives)

Get new people for marketing and social media (or only have each person answer what they know)

Give us an update on MID

Release MID

Start on a new game

Stop outsourcing everything

Get some of the old employees back

UPDATE US ON MID (sorry, I’m impatient lol)

Nancy Drew Subscription Box Service

None exists, but just think how cool it would be if @nancydrewgamesofficial started one. Like, you could specify which things you want most.

Do you want Her Interactive games (if so, which ones would you be interested in)? Do you want any of the game soundtracks? Do you want any of the few DS games? Do you want Nancy Drew t-shirts? Nancy Drew jewelry? Nancy Drew inspired clothing? Nancy Drew inspired jewelry? Books (if so, what series)? Posters? Coloring pages? One of the few puzzles that you can buy from Her Interactive? A chance to go to a Nancy Drew convention? A DVD of the 2007 ND movie? Any of the DVDs of the ND movie series from the 1930s? A season of The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries TV show?

Like, seriously, Her could do this to keep us occupied while we wait for MID. People probably aren’t buying that much from them, at least not like when a game comes out. Some people are deciding “eh, forget them” because it’s been so long since the last game and because we still aren’t getting updates. So if they can’t get MID out now, why not do this?

It’d be like the Dollar Shave Club or Loot Crate and I would be all for it. Her Interactive could call it the Nancy Drew Crate or the Nancy Drew Subscription or something.
