16. the a/c or heater breaking

ooc: takes place in price’s old apartment.

“This is bullshit. This is some honest-to-god, prime bullshit.” Price gave the heater a sharp kick which didn’t do any damage - apart from to their foot. The young New Yorker bared their teeth, annoyed - and freezing. 

Nancy sat on the floor with a wool blanket over her shoulders, having finished her inspection of the unfortunate heater. “Sorry, it does look like it has kicked the bucket. It was a temporary solution, anyway - you should really have this place fixed–”

“But it isn’t! And whose fault is that?” Price wailed before getting a blanket tossed at their face. Nancy got up effortlessly and pushed them onto the bed. “Shut up. And hey, we can stay warm like penguins.”

Personal Head canon: While he gets along with both of his parents, Price doesn’t really ‘get’ their son when he grows up and turns out to have very different interests than Price.
