Spend all of yesterday speaking to the person I’m interpreting for/translating a document on the computer. Today, interpret for several discussions (fine) and try to follow another discussion which I didn’t really understand enough to interpret, so take notes to improve for later.  Me: Checking over my notes to confirm some terms Person I’ve been interpreting for: Oh, so you can write hiragana and katakana? (I hate this comment, like... that’s literally the first or second thing you learn in Japanese. I’m interpreting for you and you think it’s impressive I can handwrite kana??  I’m not mad, it’s just like... really...  -facepalm-)

why though

the only reason microsoft gives is “update to newest version” but I can’t because I have windows 7 which doesn’t have microsoft store which means I literally can’t download the newest version
