New nano project!

I'm bored and putting Linux mint on my chemo laptop, because it deserves better after getting me through cancer than to deal with the horrors of windows 11.

Soon my friend, you shall be free.

(Fun fact: it's pink! It was 500 dollars cheaper for the pink version than the same spec in black. I would've gotten pink anyway because I want color but like seriously!! 500 bucks!!)

I have returned

After running for 2 days on AuDHD hyperfocus alone

I have managed to set up a matrix server using continuwuity

I don't even know if I'm going to use it I just wanted to see if I could do it

But I can

And I did

And now I am exhausted

But hey! It works!! Success!!

Updated my server pc to host a vintage story server

Rebooted the pc

Blinking cursor forever

Yayyyy

That was last night tho I used my mint USB drive from the surface experiment to boot into a live mint environment, pull my DND data and some configs I needed off, and then install actual mint onto there

Loading foundry let me boot DnD back up perfectly fine

Base debian apparently doesn't like me very much rip

Hello, long time no having to fix things

That changed yesterday

I dropped my phone onto my laptop

And everything froze

So I rebooted the laptop

And it worked again!

Until I pressed on the keyboard

And the screen went half green and it froze again

Luckily I have a screwdriver with bits to undo the laptop in my backpack so I took it apart at my desk, I think the RAM had come undone from the phone drop. It's fine now btw.

Got a 2230 M.2 and ordered a tiny enclosure so I don't kill my 512GB flash drive by running isos and stuff off it. Apparently MacOS doesn't want to burn ventoy correctly tho which is annoying, but I'll figure it out at home.

Camp NaNoWriMo Update number 2. Struggles, progress and planning

I’m at over 25,000 words and I haven’t written yet today.
