how would you describe your gender identity?
I use the term nanoenby.
enby being the phonetic spelling for the letters nb for non-binary.
nano(gender) usually means 75+% one gender and the rest being something else.
I’m about 90% non-binary and 10% boy.
I still use they/them pronouns, unless someone is really uncomfortable using it, then he/him works.

Elle
They stepped in front of the full length mirror, leaned up against one white wall, and gazed at their reflection. The orange sundress hung on them like a formless plastic bag. They didn't have the curves necessary to give it a pleasing shape. They spun, and the folds of the dress swirled around them in a way that made them smile for a moment.
But then they saw their smile on their smooth, hairless face, and frowned. They leaned in closer to the miror, fingers running over their cool, silvery chasis. Their gold eyes dimmed with longing for a beard they could never grow. They turned away from the mirror in frustration and stomped out into the living room, pistons in their joints creaking in complaint.
Only the cat, fat and orange, was present to witness their unhappiness. And he just glanced their way lazily, eyelids half closed, then looked out the window once he determined he wasn't getting fed. Elle, in their too-loose sundress, flung open the hallway closet and rummaged through a pile of clothes until they found a wide-brimmed yellow hat. They put it on, on, then shook their head and flung it to the floor. Next they pulled out a long scarf, and wrapped it around their smooth, chrome head, letting the ends trail behind them and pretending it was hair. Orange and yellow and red and gold hair, because that was the colors of the scarf, but as long as they didn't look, they could pretend the feeling of it swaying across their neck and back was of long hair.
Holding their hands away from them, so they wouldn't risk touching their hairless body, they spun again, letting their dress and makeshift wig be billowed up by the movement. They turned off the power to their eyes, pretending they were in a different body, one that let them feel like a girl or a boy when they wanted to. Even machines can't spin forever, though, and they stopped, their eyes lighting up again. They caught their reflection in the bathroom mirror, having forgotten that it can be seen from the hallway. Their shoulders slumped and they turned back to the living room, tearing the scarf off their head. They didn't want to sit, didn't want to lay down, didn't want to do anything, so they stood in the miidle of the room and stared at the ground.
Elle's mind was made up of mechanical components and software, but that didn't stop them from dwelling on how they felt. Why was it so hard today, they asked themself. Most days, they were happy with no gender. They enjoyed the freedom from expectations about what they should wear, or how they should act. And there were days when they knew that, no matter what their manufacturer said, they did have a gender. Male and female, they knew both was right for them. But they didn't feel like they could get it right.
When Selina came home, she found Elle still standing in the living room, staring at the floor with dim gold eyes. She hurried over and put her arms around them. "Mi querido," she said softly, pressing her face against Elle's. The robot lifted their head slightly and sighed. They didn't need to say anything. Selina knew what was wrong. She asked, "Have you charged yourself today?"
Elle shook their head and Selina put her brown hand in Elle's silver one, grasping it gently, and guided them to the bedroom. Elle immediately lay on her side, back facing the edge of the bed, so that Selina could press a large plug into the socket between their shoulders.
Selina laid on the bed too, placing her face close to Elle's as they wrapped their arms around each other. Elle let their eyes go dark and listened to Selina whisper sweet words to them, let the words fill them with a warmth that even the charger wasn't able to manage. Today was a bad day, Selina reminded them, but there's still tomorrow.
