Robot Poll Red Round 1
V2 (Ultrakill) vs Nanogenes (Doctor Who)
V2
Nanogenes
V2 Propaganda:
Yes this is a different robot. Only 2 V models were ever made, V1 (a robot designed during wartime) and V2 (a robot designed postwar to recuperate the financial losses of V1). Of course, as is typical in a game called Ultrakill, both V models end up clashing (ending in V2 losing not one but TWO arms (on two different occasions) and ultimately falling off of a pyramid and dying). I could go into detail on how the V models both make me want to dance around like a weasel chasing after prey but I’m not going to write an essay into your Google form. So just take my word for it the V models are very cool.
Nanogenes Propaganda:
Nanogenes are tiny robots that look like dancing light particles. They are used as medical workers and can repair a multitude of injuries. So they are really cool and useful, but they also make an amazing antagonist. Because if not programmed correctly, they can 'repair' the patients into transformed versions of them that are no longer human.
So, nanogenes are super capable but still flawed, really pretty AND they have brought us one of the most beautiful moments in the history of doctor who, when the Doctor gets to exclaim: "Just this once, everybody lives!"
