Vest patterns request
I've been trying to find a vest/pullover/whatever you want to call it knitting pattern so I can make myself a cute vest to wear over my blouse so I don't have to worry about gaping shirt buttons. However, the only vest patterns I can find are button up sleeveless cardi types? I want a proper 1940s looking women's vest pattern. Can anyone who knits please recommend a pattern or two? I'm getting really close to just making a jumper without the sleeves and winging it for the armholes but I'd rather have an actual pattern to follow before I start freestyling!
