Looking for a writing buddy
I’m currently in the process of writing an original story that I really have trouble with - because there are, so far, approximately 17 different versions of this story in my head, complete with alternate endings, a requited or unrequited main love story and a tube map of subplots. I do not really need somebody to read my stuff (the story is written in German, anyway), I mainly need somebody who is willing to talk (as in skype or online phone, I actually prefer speaking because it’s faster) about characters, plotlines, sensitivity problems, etc.
Motivational speeches
Funny memes at the wrong time
Lots of passion about random pairings (like, also your random pairings, if I ship someone, I ship them hard)
The ability to keep up with confusing plotlines and a certain amount of detail
Reading through stuff (enough to work as an accountability buddy)
Honest, sharply critical feedback (if you don’t mind that, otherwise I can just be nice)
The ability to get into almost any fandom quickly (except for RPFs)
English that is very close to native-speaking quality
Someone who’s willing to talk or skype
Someone who’s able to keep up with a few similar but alternating plotlines
Someone who is willing to think through several alternatives for... everything regarding a story
Someone with very good English
Someone who is interested in talking about LGBTQ+ characters, discussing stereotypes, etc
Someone who will not be nice, but bluntly state what they think
Someone over the age of 18 (I’m 24, and though I’ve got loads of respect for you 14-year-old-darlings, it’s just not gonna work)
I hope this isn’t coming across as super arrogant or demanding or intimidating.
I swear I’m nice. I just really need somebody to talk to here.
Also - I only have like 9 followers on Tumblr. So... maybe reblog this if you see it? (You may also leave verbal abuse in the comment section. Sometimes it’s just the kind of day where it’s necessary to leave mean comments on a random internet page. If this is today for you, let this be the page - after you reblogged. :-) )
