Beat Streets - Cybergrunge
Tentative final version.
Of all of my Neon Streets pieces so far, I think this one has the biggest divide between the cybergrunge style and the analog style.

I just got the #SynthStation25 for 10$ to use with my old iphone 4 for the main purpose of recycling and getting a new portable synth! I could hack my iphone 4 with an old #jailbreak and install an app to activate the audio speaker while connecting a jack in the physical audio input. So I've got a really nice and really portable new synth that will evolve according to the app I will be using. #hack #speaker #synth #test #onbatteries #drums #nanostudio #beat #beatmakers #controller #akai (à Yverdon-les-Bains, Switzerland)
#nanostudio beats on y iPad Pro at the hotel during my stay in West Palm Beach. No more computers and cords on the road. #musicproducer #recording #ipad #ipadpro #music #musician #recordingstudio

Smoggy Home - Recut
I took a little time out of working on Neon Streets to try and recut Smoggy Home to make it a bit smoother and play with it a bit.
Cyberpunk/noir writing prompt:
Damn it, we’ve survived this city so far. All you have to do is survive a walk
down that alley, get up those stairs, and not bleed out before we can get you to
the chop shop. They’ll fix you up. You’ll be good as new.
Just did something I haven’t done in a while. I’ve been so focused on making cyberloops, and trying to work on new skills, I decided to go back and play with some old ones. So I just popped open Nanostudio and started recording, part by part. Noodling around. Writing one line. Making a nice counterpoint to go against it, then when that first line ended, turning the second instrument into a new line, et cetera. I didn’t really have a name for it, but since I was doing that smooth synth monophonic style for two of the four instruments, I just called the file ‘smooth’. Then I realized the irony of uploading a file called ‘smooth rough draft.mp3′.
Lost Moments - Cybergrunge version, tentative final cut.
In the interest of forcing myself to learn something new, I decided to play with using buses in Acid while I mixed the final version. Nothing fancy... just something I really should have started doing a long time ago, but I never did.
