Various doodles done while listening to The West Passage by @jpechacek, which is so full of wonderfully unnerving, matter-of-factly surreal worldbuilding I can’t help but play with the visuals. Steve West is a hell of a narrator on the audiobook as well. Go snag it!
some important discussions on the state of adrien’s hair and his mental health are happening with @asukiess @wackus-bonkus-maximus @bittersweetresilience @heartfulselkie
Everyone in the underworld knows that Matches Malone is a Wayne Bastard. Not Tommys, that kid had little hearts in his eyes when he so much as thought of his Martha (and who can blame him amirite?), but probably Phillip. No one really knows. Confirmation? Paternity? Nah not really necessary, it’s obvious, just lookat the kid. Plus he's like, real cagey about the current Wayne Prince, gets real awkward when the boys start talkin him up, you know how they get about his pretty eyes and whatever. And Batman (you know how Wayne is sponsering Batman, probably why none of those kidnappings ever happened, not a bad investment on Waynes part) Batmans always sliding right past catching him, you think he knows about it and feels bad to take the kids cuz in? Yeah yeah that's crazy talk, bats don't got a soft bone if he stole it, but still.
Wei Ying's preferred way of dealing with water ghosts is fucking yanking them out BY HAND. This motherfucker goes NOODLING. Behold the Jiang Clan's head disciple doing his exorcism homework 👏 IN 👏 HIS 👏 ELEMENT 👏:
