One of our absolute favorite restaurants is closing. I found out yesterday that they will be closing their doors on 11/23/2020. This was our place to come for late night dinners (that’s normal for a Latin family so as you can imagine it was my FAVORITE), date nights and where we would go to grab ramen and the BEST cocktails on cold winter nights. It always hit the spot. I am going to miss coming to @chefmiminashi so much. I hope it is only temporary. I guess this is my positive mindset shining through. Every time I hear that a business is closing it reminds me so much of everything we have and how all of our actions affect others. If you think your actions are not affecting others, you are wrong. If there is one thing I learned in this pandemic is how connected we all are and the responsibility we have for our community. Please continue to be cautious, wash your hands, wear your mask, keep social distance, minimize interactions and show how much you care for all of so that we can to get thru this Covid thing ASAP. We shall get thru this and when that happens I can’t wait to hug everyone. Baby Matteo has no idea what we’ve been living through. He just sees mommy in a mask and looks at me weird... so I play peekaboo to make him smile. Showing him that mommy is here but she needs to do her part. I really don’t want him to grow up with social distancing. This is not normal. As you may all know, I LOVE to socialize. I mean I talk to everyone. I know this pandemic has not been easy but we need to think of tomorrow and what’s best for our community. ¡Vale! Until next date night... I am not ready to say Sayōnara yet! #miminashi #napavalley #naparestaurant #napa #napavale #foodie #japanesefood #ilovefood #napavalleylife #winecountry #savesmallbusiness #datenight (at Miminashi) https://www.instagram.com/p/CHhWIg7nqM2/?igshid=12dvwd9feo0f7
