24) have you ever become an expert on something you previously knew nothing about, in order to better a scene or a story?

I wouldn’t say expert, I haven’t written a whole lot so far that required heavy research as of yet. I did do some research into Regency era customs for In Earnest, but my upcoming Kun fic is set in the Qing dynasty and I am going to really have to dive so deep into research for that so maybe that will be my opportunity to gain some actual knowledge for once LOL

i have many wips but no motivation 🦧 how do i finish my wips 😔

i tell myself try to post something significant on friday. but somehow the panic to meet that deadline doesn’t settle until friday night so the wip gets finished saturday.

if you need to be more inspired, if it’s safe for you, try to get out more! I’ve been biking to the library almost every day to study and reading books definitely makes me want to write. tonight i went to a poetry reading and bought some amazing poetry books too!!
