Finally got time to doodle a bit, starting a new DnDestiny campaign later this month. I'm getting to bring my boy Narec back but since its in a Dark Ages setting, so i wanted to change his looks a bit, lean more into a more official Hive look with his face. Leaned a lot more into his Darkblade blood while still keeping to bits of his older Infinite Forest Design and King Morph design.

This version will end up being a Speaker in some capacity since the DM allowed that so i guess... all hail the return of the boy? lol

What would you do, to reclaim someone you loved and lost?  

Timelost: A Narec and Achilles-17 D2 Story 

This year, I participated in the D2 Valentines 2023 Art Event with my buddy @tenrouken. Together, we tell a small story of love and loss: What if one of our characters died? What would they do to bring the other back? How far would they go? Well, it turns out Narec is willing to pull an Osiris and bend the very nature of time to bring his love, Achilles-17, back from the dead. One can only imagine the consequences, but also, in the moment, there is only the feeling of reclamation. Since this was a collaborative effort, here is what Ten and I both worked on: Myself: I worked on the character models, coloring, the two ‘past’ panels, the story, and the comic layout and flow. Achilles-17 is my OC Ten: Worked on the story, the lettering, the background lines and colors, the special effects, the sundial handheld object. Narec is her Krill sunsinger OC. For  @d2artevents! Last year, a lot of the @d2artevents people for our yearly media zine did redraws of media art and covers be it Movies, Music album art, Book Covers, Anime, etc. I was part of two different pieces, this was my solo piece for the zine; a redraw of The Book of the Fiends 5e cover with my boy Narec.

At the start of the year, I had posted this on twitter, only fitting I think that I post it here at the end of the year.

For 7 months I worked on this comic, this is both mine and Narec's story. There's a lot of the background I won't go into, I think most of it can be guessed loosely from context of what's going on, but lets just say someone who I trusted hurt me over jealousy towards Narec, brought up a lot of childhood memories and emotions i had suppressed and I had a hell of a time working through it. I nearly left the community as a whole.

I made this to work through and lay to rest all the pain and memories I had of that time, and hopefully both share how much everyone means to me, but also hopefully encourage others as well who might be struggling.

I learned that life moves on, you can't linger, that there are people who care if you are willing to look and let them help you, and that sometimes, the best motivation and example to keep on moving is closer than you think.

This was a special card I made for the_ravenmother on Twitter back in Dec 2020 as part of the @d2artevents Secret Santa that year. I had a lot of fun with this card as it was the first time i really started to heavily lean into the Vector with my cards for more than just the frame or some random shapes.

It was my first time participating in the server and in an exchange, and I was glad to get them as the person i was drawing for as I could try and make them smile.

Funny enough, she ended up having me as well for her exchange so she ended up doing this fabulous piece of Narec for me(which is still and forever my background on my phone).

Thank you for all the nice words about the comic I posted a few days ago. I read all the comments and tags and really was nice <3, since all the new people probably don't know Narec, this is him.

He is a Krill(proto Hive) Sunsinger Warlock. He was the character I played the most in a D&Destiny campain based around the Infinite Forest and he became the protagonist of the story by pure chance(hence the jealousy from a friend and them spreading lies about me).

He's a very good boy, starts as a total innocent and very timid thing, slowly over time grows into this wonderful kind of hero/parent/mentor figure as he figures out what he wants to be.

So prepare if you stick around, yeah, your gonna see him around a lot between all the Tarot card stuff lol just a warning~

A drawing I did of Narec, my Krill Guardian OC from a while back now,; back when I could play him in DnDestiny.

Normally I draw him very calm, caring, sweet acting or looking, but this one I wanted to do a kind of anime inspired style and wanted to really show that side of him that earned his allies respect and his enemies fear (we frightened a Gate Lord in the campaign lol).

This was very against all my style at the time, still kind of is, but I have gotten better.

I'm not on any social media for long, but I sometimes pop on really quick and look through all the tags and see the things people say, really means a lot and its helping me get through some stuff atm, so thank you. <3
