I’ve read her lore and her kit and here are my thoughts. Note: I’m sorry if anyone disagrees with me and thinks I’m being a killjoy, but these are my opinions only. I know there are people who like her and I genuinely want to like her too.

- Mod Mal’Damba

1. I’m underwhelmed at her design. The fanservice is supposed to be subtle I suppose, but it’s horribly glaring to me. Her design also doesn’t display the power and divinity of someone I’d expect to have in her place. She just looks like the normal girl she always was, in a different outfit. The wings are very nice though.

2. Her kit looks good, and I’m seeing how Hirez wants her to be a hyper aggressive support. High healing, high damage, good mobility as it is right now, but I don’t know for sure how she plays until the patch drops for real. I’m concerned that she might be OP now, then get nerfed into oblivion next update. Because we’ve seen it happen before.

3. Quite good lore, but a little predictable once we learned that Seris is her sister and was doomed to be cast into the abyss. Loving sister gets mad, does anything she can to avenge her sister, gains some amazing powers to do so.

That said I’m excited to try her out for real since we won’t know the full experience until then. I want to see if she can challenge Mal’Damba, Jenos, and Seris as top healers, or if she’s too aggressive and plays more like a damage. I see that Hirez purposely gave her extra high healing to compensate for the 90% of the time they expect someone to take aggression over and beyond and hold mouse 1, but we’ll see. She might just be a new Jenos. I’m definitely looking to squeeze in a new main healer into the roster.
