Dndads Week 2026: Day 7 - Favourite Au
I was a little unsure as to what was expected for this prompt so for me I want to (again) share my love for @anoctoberpepper. Their writing is just incredible. I can't help but fan girl over them. Every time they post I devour immediately.
Their drabbleverse is rich and cohesive and absolutely an inspiration for me when I am writing. Pepper's research really comes through to give realistic representations of situations and places and has pushed me to think further out of the box when working on my own stuff.
So, to celebrate it, I wanted to draw Cassandra Swift, as I imagine her within Pepper's Narkandra Au. I maybe imagine a couple more tattoos to be honest- small delicate ones- but the choice for this one in particular was to cover up scars. I also want to say that this piece is part of a larger design I am working on with Nicky & Lark present too. Currently they are just scribbly outlines so they will have to wait. I was drawn to finish Cass first because I love the way Pepper writes her, and her backstory, it's the first time Cass really clicked into place for me.
