I think the difference in the DMing styles of Brennan Lee Mulligan and Anthony Burch (and why I favor Anthony’s) is Brennan is (literally) the camp counselor that’s gonna have a great attitude and make double damn sure everyone’s having fun and has sunscreen, while Anthony is more like that one kid who sets up elaborate, ill-advised games/contraptions in his backyard that have resulted in multiple accidents and injuries to the other kids of the neighborhood but without fail those kids are back once the casts are off cause that shit is fun as hell

Gregg Araki’s films are Lynchian, “queer as in fuck you”, disturbing, ethereal Nightmares, the Doom Generation especially - I’d say the trigger warnings are like.. a good majority of the list of possible trigger warnings, but in my opinion it’s similar to David Lynch in the saturation and color editing of the movie makes the gore less visceral and upsetting since it’s more clearly fake, but the subject matter is totally still upsetting. For desensitized fucked-up film enjoyers though I highly recommend!

Also The Living End is easily in my top 5 favorite films of all time, the queerness of Araki’s movies is so very raw and magnificent it left me reeling the first time I saw it.
