i know you know my vibes re: jaime , and i know you know how i feel about genius level characters of a certain personality style , agenda and the need to make that convincing , and i know that you know that you pull it off. jaime is a great character, honestly, sometimes difficult to write with but that’s the good thing about her --- i need to actually think about the thread and the answer because she asks those questions and puts sulu in that type of situation , and really that’s something i’ve not found with other muses. she’s adorably evil, and your interpretation is the only one i will follow because --- well, i’ve not quite found anyone else that plays a villain type character that can think leagues ahead of the situation. so goddamn good.

It’s been a long damn day. 

      He loves his job. Lives for it. Too much, his wife       used to say, when he’d come home late, again,       dinner cold on the table and --                                                      -- anyway. Loves it,       but God, if it doesn’t exhaust him, emotionally. It’s       high-stress and it’s fast-paced and by the end of       the day, he knows he won’t sleep unless he unwinds       first.

Which is why he’s here, in his regular, cold pint of beer in his hand and half-watching the match on  the big screen out of the corner of his eye - until he’s distracted by someone moving towards him, almost as if they know him. They don’t. He’s pretty damn sure, and he’s got a memory for faces. He checks behind him -- been there before, waving like an idiot at a stranger -- but sees no one.

            “ --- arsenal to win then, d’you reckon?”

   Because it’s better than just staring at her like a confused idiot.

In the others woman's defense, since she is literally breaking and entering her brothers flat, looking for case files that she's not  allowed to see. Which is probably why she's rather moody. She doesn't like being told no.
