As much as I laugh at how that new promo vid is so very, very misleading in the fact that it tries to make it look like S15 is really going back to Sam and Dean vs everything (lol it’s so very not), I’m very excited about the early bookend to the pilot.

“We’ve got work to do.”

Bookends are like so, so important in storytelling. You wanna end where you begin, where something is the same but something else is very different. But the thing is 15x01 isn’t an end. It’s the beginning of an end. So to me this feels like something they are marking off their list as a callback for the series finale.
