Shinchon Vertical by ReyA’
In this old Shinchon work of mine, I was painting again for the first time in years, migrating from ink wash drawings and wrestling with the idea of opaque colors. These paintings have few fans, but they mark an exciting time in my artistic journey. If nothing else, this work changed my whole work dynamic. After Shinchon, I never went back to ink again. If I ever needed ink in an image, there were many ways to do the same things in acrylic.
