LOVER

Alison (an aspiring musician) is a loyal fan of the global superstar Taylor Swift. One afternoon while listening to her idol, she dreamed about being a musician someday, she thought of writing songs about love, in all its complexity, coziness and chaos. Then suddenly, her mother told her to go to the market to buy groceries and then suddenly she passed by a guitar shop so she decided to drop by. While looking, the store owner asked her if she wants to try their new model of guitar ad she didn’t hesitated to try it. She used her original song called LOVER. She didn’t know that the owner is taking a video of her and posted it on the internet and it became viral. She woke up one day with so many emails from different recording company to build her music career. She chose the company that she believed can handle her very well. They offered her to release an album. She likes clouds, pink, purple and hearts so she decided to include that on the album cover. She named her album LOVER based on her very first hit song. It became a huge hit and she became the most popular superstar. She can’t believe that she released the very first album that she owned.

A Girl in my Dreams 🌫

          Dancing trees, crying sky and hiding sun were only some of what I saw as I opened the front door and sipped my coffee. Breathe in. breathe out. After I took in some fresh air, I went back inside my house, sat on the couch and thought about her again. How’s her project going? Is she doing fine? Until my thoughts about her suddenly faded and shifted to me , what should I do today?

          My footsteps led me to my room. Suddenly, I found myself browsing my phone, hoping to come up with an idea or even just a text message from her. My eyes sparkled as the “1 unread message” popped up in my notification panel then became a bit disappointed because it says, “Daniel, pre, tara moma. James’ club. 10pm. See you.” As I read that message, it was clear to me that I don’t feel like going out. I rather stay at home, so I declined his invitation right away. I continued browsing my instagram account. I saw her. I saw her instagram icon. I saw her post, about me. At that moment, I thought I  felt all the pleasing feelings one could ever feel.

          Little did I know, I was already walking towards my car following what the tiny voices have told me. “Drive”,  I heard the voices again yet, this time, I didn’t follow it. It got louder and longer, ”Driveeeeeeeeee!!”, up to the point that it already hurt my ears. So, I had no other choice but to continue. Then, I found myself driving to her place. The whispers were still controlling me and every time I would insist on doing, either I’ll become louder or I’ll see her beautiful face - talking to me, smiling at me, posting about me and kissing me. I drew myself near her door, knocked. And there, I saw her. I saw her but with him. My kathryn with his Dj was the last thing I saw before everything went black.

My Postponed Journey

            Have you ever had a dream school? of course we all do have. we have that certain school in our mind that we want to apply when we go to college. and if we have that opportunity to grab it we will not think twice and will grab it Hello!! it is your dream school. The school you wish and imagine studying everyday, The school you wan to finish your degree, and the school that you want to put on your resume when you apply for a job someday.         When the University of Santo Tomas (UST) opened their application/ registration for the incoming Senior High School. I immediately tell it to my mom because I really want to apply, I grab the opportunity to take the exam. I fixed all my papers and sent it right away to the admission office of UST. After a few days of waiting,I finally received an e-mail from the office saying that they already received my papers and also the schedule of my exam.  

              September 27, 2015. The day of the exams , This is it!!. The exam that will tell if I can fulfill my dream to study in my dream school. It was a bright and sunny day a day of nervous and excitement. Before we head to UST, we first attend the mass to ask guidance from the lord. While on our way, I cannot explain what I am feeling in that very moment. I don’t know if I am nervous or excited but then when we arrived at the UST my heart skip a beat and I don’t know why, it is not my first time to go there but there’s something that I cannot explain. And the exam finally started. It is quite  hard but thank God I was able to finish the exams.              March 15, 2016. The Judgment day. Where the result will be finally released I was so nervous that time especially when the list are now posted in the portal so I grabbed my paper and put on my log-in id and password in the portal, Unfortunately I was on the waiting list but they released the list of waiting that passed and given an opportunity to have a slot and I was one of them.             I think that this is not my turn or my time to study on my dream school because my mother enrolled me to my old school the INBCS. I hope that someday I will have the privilege to study in UST. Once I graduated from Senior High School I will try my luck again and try to take the exam once again I will not give up on my dream.
